50 cL bottle. Pours amber, almost clear with some light brown and quickly disappearing head. Clearly carbonated. Aroma is hop and fruit, some yeast. Malty caramel taste with yeast elements (Svaneke taste). Soft taste given by the caramelly malt and fruity hops. Reminds a bit about Tuborg Classic Gylden but has the distinct Svaneke taste to it. A slightly hazy amber beer with a nice light brown head. The aroma is typically for Svanke, sweet with notes of straw and fruity esters - reminding me of a barn yard. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, straw, fruity esters, and citrus, but also hints of the alcohol, and a slightly burnt end. The mouthfeel is very smooth, just like the whole range of Svaneke beers. joergen (28455) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2005
Bottled. Amber colour with a small white head.
Sweet aroma with lots of malts and lactic acid.
Sweet flavour of malts, almost no bitterness.
Typical Svaneke beer with infection and lots of malts.

Bottled. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity and has some yeasty notes in it. Flavour is fruits, caramel, hay and some mild hints of fudge. As it warms up it gets some slight grassy notes too.

Bottled. Clear amber, rich firm head. Lots of toffee lastng from aroma to finish. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Soft and mild with low bitterness. A warming, caramelly one-flavour beer. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Fat, malty aroma with some caramel. Quite a full and rich body with sweet caramel, roasted malt and some overripe fruit. Subdued bitterness. A lovely, juicy Bock - but sorely underrated. 040107 madmitch76 (25009) - , Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2015

Pre GBBF tasting at Chris and Ruth’s. Dusty bottle from the Chris O archives. Clear amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Sweetish malts, some cream. Mild floral bitterness. Light dried fruits. Light finish. Fine!
Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Big thanks to Chris for pulling this bottle from his vault. Cheers! Pours clear amber with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds funky earth, toasty bread and dough. Medium sweet flavour, a bit doughy, with some ripe fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish with more bready malts, mellow ripe fruits. OK overall. Rasmus40 (21343) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2011
