From tap - 0,25l at brewpub. Pours clear dark brown liquid, medium frothy tan to brown head, good stability, Aroma: roasted notes, coffee, malty, dark chocolate, minor smoke notes, very good, Taste: medium sweet, medium bitter, dry, malty, roasty and smoke notes, sausage - meaty, very good, Palate: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, long bitter roasty finish, Overall: very good, nice smooth palate, perhaps only some thing, that disturbs me in the aftertaste - in the aftertaste, the mouthfeel gets bit empty/ flat, but the body, bitterness and caramel are ok. I m not able to describe it more precisely. mR_fr0g (14241) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 9, 2015

Thanks to David’s sister/mother for bringing this back. Really solid, lightly sweet malty lager with some nuttiness, caramels. Drinks more like an amber lager than I expected from the color.

Deep dark colour with of-white head and nice lancing. Roasty to buscuitlike flavour. Full body with tones of coffee nuts and chocolate. Marko (6385) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 3, 2014
Missed it last time, got it this time. Poured a daaaark brown body with a beige thick head that went away relatively slowly. Dry malty aroma, a bit of a letdown, only some miiiild chocolate taste. Mild dry taste, caramel, toasty, ending with a medium bitterness. A well executed lager that paled in comparison to the Antidepressant Ale & the Jantar, but would be the star beer of most brewpubs I’ve been to. bhensonb (16124) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is more chocolate and malt than anything. Med body. Flavor is dark malt/darkish chocolate - fairly towards dry - not very bitter. Lore (3023) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 29, 2014
very dark brown colour, beige-ish head; aroma and taste of roasted malt, some coffee, dark chocolate, and hints of ash; a bit watery; not bad, but I expected more after tasting their IPA and Weizen.
