A golden beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is very grassy and hoppy. The flavor is flowery and spicy with a dry end. A nice pilsener.

Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2004
Rich copper-amber colour. Aroma is of rich chewy malts and hints of hay-like saaz, with some caramel. Malty, with a crisp hoppy accent. Qualilty pils with good balance and richness.

Tap @ Svijany Pub, Prague (Liben). Pours clear golden with a small white head. Bready and floral nose and flavor. Crisp and hoppy. Easy and well made. Smooth. Tasty Desikta!

500ml bottle - shared by Marduk - thanks!
What a stunning head - huge and rocky, otherwise a pale gold in the glass. Very little aroma, just a little bit of bready grains. Loads of esters in the retronasals, some syrupiness. Hops a little bitter, sticky and resiny, but also very astringent, so plusses and minuses. Some sourness to the malts, and fairly watery too, some minerals, chalky, or maybe a little iron too. Fairly full flavoured, but not all the flavours are good, so I have to be a little harsh.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2010
Bottle, 4.0%. Perfumy aroma. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off a little sweet, turns slightly bitter. Good mouthfeel. Very flavourful for ABV.

Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2011
On tap at U Rokytky Restaurace in Liben, Prague. Clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of good biscuit-y malt and herbal hops. Malty sweet flavour with a bit of diacetyl and a hoppy finish

bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 30, 2012
Bottle from Borresteijn, thanks! Blonde. Soft grassy maltaroma. Sharp grassy hopbitter flavor with hints of butter, especially in the grassy aftertaste. Thinnish.

Rune (12803) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 20, 2014
500ml bottle via djoeye, shared with Elisabeth, Finn and Stefan. Pearl white head resting on top of a pale golden body. Spotty lacing. Pale malty aroma, hints of mid-dry fruits. Flavoured with lemon and grainy malts. Harsh and short bitter endnotes. Soft carbonated. Has got little to offer (session at Finns in Tromsø, 07.08.2014).
