Bottle - Rally nice dunkel in colour, thin, quickly disappearing head. Taste comes with coffee bitterness, some sweetness and the roasted malt is like a wood. There is a note of banana as well.
Raally nice one!
50 cl. bottle. A brown coloured beer with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, caramel and with a roasted finish. djcampbell (159) - Moravany, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 8, 2017
Výborné pivo, které mě doposud ze Svijan nejvíce uchvátilo. Skvělý říz i nasládlé aroma , obohacené o skvělou chuť klasických tmavých piv. kamanova_boy (271) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 7, 2017
On tap at Novomestský pivovar. Dark brown colour with short lasting creamy white head, aroma not very significant, traces of coffee beans. Taste of coffee, roasted malt, medium sweet, medium bitter, pleasant finish. Nice dunkel. jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JUN 2, 2017

clear dark brown with beige head. Light caramel aroma, moderate body, low carbonation, slightly sweet, dry caramel and cocoa with a slightly tannic finish.
Bottle, 0.5l. Deep ruby pour with one finger creamy beige head. Smell of malts, yeast, grains. Slight caramel.
Thin body with watery texture. Medium to high carbonation, prickly on the tongue. Moderately bitter taste and mouthfeel. Aroma of malts, yeast and grains. Slightly roasted, touch of caramel. Somewhat grassy. Pleasant, not imposing, perhaps a bit watery. Regular finish, slightly metallic.
Overall, quite good. promontor (153) - HUNGARY - DEC 12, 2016
0.5l bottle from a Tesco in Czech Republic. Dark brown body with ruby hint. Dark beige foam. Aroma is moderate, mix of caramel, bit of chocolate/cocoa and yeast. Foam has bitter, roasted taste. The beer itself is moderately sweet, with hints of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate/cocoa. Occasionally some hints of red fruits, i.e. cherry. Or maybe some nuts. Also, fruits appear in the aroma around the end. Palate is OK, medium carbonation, mouthfeel is mild and fizzy at the same time, medium body, or even light. Or at least light for a 13. Moderately bitter aftertaste of the roasted type. Excitingly complex but somehow not as harmonic as the better Czech Tmaves. Good one, but this lack of harmony prevents it becaming a favourite for me. efeesse (547) - Praha, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 25, 2016
