Bottle, bought @ Pivni Gallerie, Prague.rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 21, 2012
Pours deep nutty brown with a fine, lightly creamy off-white. Aroma has light toffee, good caramel, some roasted malts and light grassy hops. Impressive mouthfeel, very creamy for the relatively low alcohol. Flavour is lightly metallic at first, but gains in wonderful maltiness, good sweet and dark chocolate. Finish is medium roasted with a good hoppy presence. This is a wonderful dunkel.

Clear dark amber colour with small to average sized fluffy light tan head.
Caramel and toffee sweetness, malt and mild diacetyl in aroma.
Flavour is sweetish with dry hoppy twist. There’s liquorice, toffee, dry hops, malt and dark fruits in flavour. Rather balanced and interesting.
Bottle. Sweet toffee malt and dry cherry aroma. Dark chestnut color with giant, long lasting tan head. Sweet cherry and toffee malt flavor with a lightly bitter/astringent finish. Brown sugar aftertaste. Very nice. pivnizub (10573) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - SEP 24, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2005 Bottle (bought at the brewery): Dark amber coloured, huge rocky brownish head, very long lasting; only shy malty nose with some fruity traces, too, and - yes - a touch of "cellulose-thinner" ! Weak sweetish maltiness in the beginning, slight bitter-malty taste, distinctive bitterness (cacao, chocolate) in the longer lasting finish; not bad, but rather thin for a 13° (5,2% ABV) brew, only small aroma....and brewed by the use of an ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER ("s umelym sladitlem") ! Presumable the reason for this cellulose-thinner aroma ? allmyvinyl (10508) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 2, 2015
