Bottle 0,5l Tesco Neratovice 17 CZK
Aroma: light sweet, toasty, bread, nutty, notes of chocolate and roasted malt.
Chesnut coloured body with ruby glints, tall slow falling off-white head, nice creamy. Residue of this is sitting on the glass bottom after drinking.
Flavour: at first little sour with nuts, bread, next full of toasty, again gread, roasty sunflower seeds, notes of honey and chocolate, medium sweet, light bitter. Finish bitter, hops, malty. Aftertaste is disturbing - musk, but nothing strong to decrease full and well balanced taste. Carbonation is low.
Overall: The composition is arguable - isoextracts of hop, sugar... But even this, on flavour it is one of the best tmavy I ever tried.

Bottle. Sweet dark malty aroma with caramel, mild roast and hints of astringent veggie. Dark red-brown with a light brown, frothy and clingy head. Body is thin and a tad sticky. Roast with caramel and a little grit, medium astringent bitterness throughout leading to a dry and toffeeish aftertaste. Some nice hoppy funk in the middle- and endgame. Good balance between sweetness an dbitterness. Flavor is complex and comes in waves. Took me a while to get into this (its charms are subtle), but I do like it quite a bit.

MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 17, 2011
Bottle sample courtesy of The Losh. Very dark oily pour lets in some light creating an ambery hue. Has a moderate beige cap. The nose is very roasty, and hints at coffee and vanilla, with some grassy hops. Sweet, but fairly balanced by floral bittering hops. Medium light body,Long bitter finish with musty like black coffee in the end. A good effort from this brewer.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep ruby pour with one finger creamy beige head. Smell of malts, yeast, grains. Slight caramel. Thin body with watery texture. Medium to high carbonation, prickly on the tongue. Moderately bitter taste and mouthfeel. Aroma of malts, yeast and grains. Slightly roasted, touch of caramel. Somewhat grassy. Pleasant, not imposing, perhaps a bit watery. Regular finish, slightly metallic. Overall, quite good.
