Nice roasted aroma, although not intense. Dark ruby color, average lasting head. Full body, rather sweetish with roasted notes. No diacetyl - which is great for Czech tmave - pretty high carbonation. Roasted finish and some sour notes.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep ruby pour with one finger creamy beige head. Smell of malts, yeast, grains. Slight caramel. Thin body with watery texture. Medium to high carbonation, prickly on the tongue. Moderately bitter taste and mouthfeel. Aroma of malts, yeast and grains. Slightly roasted, touch of caramel. Somewhat grassy. Pleasant, not imposing, perhaps a bit watery. Regular finish, slightly metallic. Overall, quite good.

djcampbell (159) - Moravany, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 8, 2017
Výborné pivo, které mě doposud ze Svijan nejvíce uchvátilo. Skvělý říz i nasládlé aroma , obohacené o skvělou chuť klasických tmavých piv.
