Extremely clear. Dark copper colour. Warm spicy hop and malt aroma. Dark malt and fruit flavour. Very easy drinking.

Draught. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Very dark red brown body. Creamy nut caramel aroma. Relatively strong cocoa nut caramel flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carboation. Short aftertaste.

judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 5, 2009
Bottled. Dark brown color with ruby hue and creamy brownish head that lasts quite long. The aroma is pretty neutral to me. It has a distinct roasted malt character with light chocolate feel. The flavor is a pleasant surprise, much more intense than the aroma. It starts roasted malty, then follows some sweet toffee, caramelish flavors with a slightly spicy hops in the finish. It also has some weird meaty, yeasty feel as it gets warmer, but not disturb too much. The body is pleasantly smooth with moderate carbonation, almost oily - so u can feel it’s really unpasteurized. I’d gladly taste the all beers from this brewery if i’d have a chance. And surely drink it regularly if i could.

Grovlam (4214) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2010
bottle 50 cl. Large beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Mahogany color. Aroma of dusty grain, mild roasted malt, hint of floral hoppy notes. Mild liquorish, caramel amd roasted malt over the palate with some bitterness from the hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light dry texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flaver well balanced. Light lingering roasted malty sweet finish.

Mittelmalziger Antrunk. Würzig mittelintensiv, mit der Zeit süßer werdend. Dabei tief malzig bleibend, recht würzig, leicht hopfig-herb. Der Abgang ist etwas bananig und sehr malzig. Vollmundiges Bier! Test vom 27.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,11,11,13,-,11 - 11,52

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 28, 2012

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - SEP 5, 2012
Deep brown body and light tan head. Cacao, pecan nuts, wholewheat bread. Quite smooth, nice mouth feel. Light sweet and roasted. Good balance, none of the expected factory taste. Body is even a bit fatty. Well made, good brewer. (50cl bottle)

angelkostvo (1227) - CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 13, 2012
Color is dark with red nuance as you would expect from a dunkel and it has a small head that stays. Aroma of caramel, smoke, plums, some wet wood may be. Taste is balanced, sweet with dry finish. On of the best Czech dunkels I had.

Holmen2 (3567) - NORWAY - JAN 16, 2014
Dark, reddish brown. Persisten off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt and prunes. Some cherry-like sourness in taste. Perhaps a bit thin mouthfeel.

500 ml bottle @ Prague. Originally rated 2015-04-22
Dark copper colored, almost black beer with big persistent beige head leaving lacing. Aroma has chocolate, toffee, vanilla, dark fruits, dark bread and mämmi. Flavor has chocolate, raisins, fresh fruitiness, light roastiness and little coffee. Palate is thin with strong carbonation. Finish has medium bitterness. Aftertaste has licorice, roasted malts, bread, toffee and dark fruits. Rich aroma and flavor but helplessly too thin for this kind of stuff. Still good.
