Turtles (2456) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2016
500ml bottle @ Base Camp Bottle Shop, Prague. Deep mahogany with a tanned head that lasts for a long time and leaves good lacing. Sweet caramel nose, honey, hay and toffee. Thin and soft mouthfeel, mild carbonated making it really smooth. Sweet caramel taste, earthy and some grassy hops. Sweet finish. Well balanced and drinkable but not really a wow brew.

Sigmund (7230) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 4, 2005
500 ml bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Typical dunkel reddish brown colour, large lasting off-white/beige head. Moderate malty aroma, notes of caramel and leather, maybe some dark fruits too. Low carbonation, a bit thin mouthfeel, malty sweet with notes of molasses, minimal bitterness. Nice enough to drink, but I’d really like some more hops to balance the sweetness. Must be another beer for the target group "convalescents and nursing mothers".
