Baltijos has a thick, off-white head, an initially clear, rust-red appearance, with lots of bubbles and minimal lacing. The beer clouds up, when the bottom sediment is swished loose and poured in. Aroma is of sweet, brown bread crust, and the flavor is of sweet, syrupy, bready malts, with low-level hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Balitjos finishes crisp and drinkable. RJT

Can from the Polish Delicatessen opposite The Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Dark clear copper with next to no head. Malty, sweet, fairly rich in this respect with its strength evident.

It’s a beer. I drank it. I regret that. Not impressed. On the bright side, Germany won.

Mid range beer. Like penalty shoot outs again Buffon! They go in but he still touches the ball. Was good luck but needed, could taste better but fulfils the need!

Fast dissapearing head. Clearly dark brown like ted colour. Ara is poor like extract. Taste caramel but not from barley it seems it make with caramel extract not really malt.

Baltijos has a descriptive label identifying this beer as a Dark Red Marzen Oktoberfest. Got the appearance correct, but a synthetic caramel syrup flavor and flat carbonation make it Macro unFabulous.

F: thin, off-white. C: dark brown-red, clear. A: caramel, malt, fruity, cherries. T: caramel, malty, fruity, medium full body, lower carbonation, may be too boring but for me enjoyed, 0,5l bottle in shopping centre Serfontana in Morbio Inferiore in Switzerland.

From a bottle into a Brother Thelonious chalace. Pours reddish brown with small head. Aroma of caramel malt, grains, slight wet socks. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of rich malts, caramel, earth, slight leather, herbs, brown sugar. Overall rich, flavorful, decent.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2016 Bottle from random Eastern European shop in Bedford. Clear ruddy Amber, lots of carbonation. Light smell of caramel malt extract. Tastes sweet with a hint of smoke and stone fruit. Earthy finish. Not a lot to this one really - what you see is what you get - but it is an easy-drinking beer.

DerGantzel (442) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2016 Malt and light caramel aroma. Clear and golden red appearance. Medium-high sweetness and light-medium bitterness. Average carbonation.
