This was far and away my favorite beer during my trip to the Baltics. It is not quite a dunkel, but more than a fest beer. Excellent flavor and aroma. The Malt and Hops balance perfectly. This is a very drinkable beer. I liked it so much I brought several bottles home with me so I can try to emulate it in my homebrew. cmshawaii (3) - USA - JUL 27, 2002 does not count

Baltijos has a thick, off-white head, an initially clear, rust-red appearance, with lots of bubbles and minimal lacing. The beer clouds up, when the bottom sediment is swished loose and poured in. Aroma is of sweet, brown bread crust, and the flavor is of sweet, syrupy, bready malts, with low-level hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Balitjos finishes crisp and drinkable. UPDATED: OCT 23, 2016 From Combini. In Bavaria glass. Watching Los Soprano 4x12 + Playing Magic duels. Very caramelish, with roasted and brown sugar notes a good dose of bitterness. Although it seem to have bad reviews, Ive really enjoyed it strings (377) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 8, 2006
Bottle. Wow, this one was a real surprise to pick up from the supermarket when we crossed into Lithuania. Didn’t expect the mainstream beer to be so interesting. Lovely creamy texture and malty, fruity, and caramel flavours, slides down the throat and leaves behind its lovely aftertaste. D (577) - Gdynia, POLAND - NOV 18, 2006
Amber colour, thick head. Heavy,caramel-like aroma. Malty, fruity, not too sweet, smokey. Pleasant bready aftertaste. Very good Lithuanian beer, fortunately available in Krakow right now.
