JUBILIEJINIS 1784 (5,4% vol.) is a unique beer made according to the outstanding technology that is rarely applied throughout the World and is called krausening. This technology was invented in Bavaria 800 years ago.

The beer is a skilful mix of new and mature beer. It is matured in cold cellars of ŠVYTURYS twice longer than usually. That is why it has such subtle and harmonious taste, and that is why it’s scum is chard till the last swallow.

JUBILIEJINIS 1784 is the beer of highest category and quality. It is the second sort of beer from ŠVYTURYS traditional collection. This beer is a present of ŠVYTURYS 220-ieth birthday to large number of Lithuanian beer lovers. It is available in 0.5 litre bottles.

The first lot of JUBILIEJINIS 1784 was a collectable rarity – exactly 220 000 first bottles were marked with individual collection numbers. Džuljeta Armonienė, the Chief Technologist of ŠVYTURYS, confessed: „Experienced brewers say that the most important things to make a good beer are malt, cold, yeast and brewers conscience. We used all experience that ŠVYTURYS gained in 220 years when brewing JUBILIEJINIS 1784”.

Ungstrup (38582) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
A light yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is hoppy with hints of metal, while the flavor is sweet malty with light notes of alcohol.

joergen (29353) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2005
Clear yellow coloured with a white head.
Fruity aroma with notes of hops and malts.
Fruity flavour with notes of malts and hops.
Long hoppy finish.

omhper (25802) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 20, 2004
Bottled. Pale golden, average head. Distinct, somewhat soapy, hop aroma. Fairly sweet with crsip clean mouthfeel. Dominated by aromatic, flowery soapy hops. Low bitterness. In possession of a fair bit of character, and IMO one of the better beers to be found in Lithuanian supermarkets.

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 8, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, fully golden with a very limited head. Slightly perfumy hop aroma. Medium bodied with a dry, malty feel and a short, dry finish. 301005

Oakes (19010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 22, 2004
Light gold colour. Hoppy, minerally aroma - berry, pine and iron. Flavour is light but lemony, berryish. Thin, though - it lacks basically any malt.

imdownthepub (15380) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2008
Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml from Waitrose, Cirencester. Yellow gold, highly carbonated white head. An unexpected find amongst the Svyturys Ekstra bottles. Sweet, sticky lager with sweetcorn notes, a tincture of hoppiness, but pretty hard going over 500ml, I had to ditch the last bit even though I was watching the football (Holland v Italy). Not great.

Tmoney99 (15030) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 8, 2006
Bottle in FL. Poured a hazy straw color with a large frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet malt and hop aroma. Light to medium body. Light hoppy citrus flavor with a short finish.

DocLock (11106) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2006
Bottle from Super Saver. Turbid gold pour with aroma of honey malt, some hopcitrus, and slight cloves. The taste is bready malty, with some honey and hopcitrus flavors. Not terrible, but not something I’d pick up again, even at $1.49 a pint.

leaparsons (10797) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2006
Bottle. Very pale, hazy and still, like pee. Aromas are clean and fresh grain with some caramel malts and sweet lemon. Flavours are sweet citrus, caramel, pears and grain. Fairly bitter with hops spices towards the finish. Quite thin in character.

PorterPounder (8313) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 17, 2006
Tallahassee, Fl. - Half-Time Liquors - 500 ml bottle. Cloudy, dark golden appearance, soapy white head - fairly thick. Hints of lemon and yeast in the aroma. Flavor has some cake mix like yeastiness to it with some back end lemony sourness and finishes with some metallic dullness. Fairly thickish mouthfeel and the right amount of carbonation. Overall, drinkable but not refreshing.
