50 cl bottle from a friend, consumed on 1 July, 2012crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 12, 2012
Hazy yellow color, fluffy white head. Malty, sweet, grainy, acidic scent. Sweet, malty, grainy taste. Dry grainy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Unfiltered, yet pasteurized. Counter-intuitive. It is a fruity lager with a stickign sweetness running right through it. imdownthepub (15129) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2012
Bottled, 500ml from Lithuanica, Birmingham. Hazy orange gold with white head. Something must be lost in translation by calling this Raw as Silk has pointed out that it is pasteurised, but nevertheless it does seem to carry through a few unfiltered characteristics. It has a fruity fresh lemon note a light fragrant malt and it is quite pleasant to drink. The best Lithuanian beer I have had so far. McGarnigle (654) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 15, 2012
A bit on the sweet side for me, and not enough hops. After-taste isn’t clean, but lingers for too long. Not too different from other Baltic state lagers. rauchbier (3922) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2012
Bottle, from an ethnic food store in Scunthorpe. Hazy orange gold, fluffy white head and moderate condition. Fruity malt in the nose with some yeastiness and a hint of peppery hop, quite yeasty in the mouth with a dominant bitterness over a faintly tangy fruity maltiness, dry in the finish with a suggestion of hops and some citrus notes

500ml bottle from local East European shop. Strange this - they call it Unfiltered and Raw, but then they pasteurize it. Hmm. So what you get is a beer slightly cloudy with dead yeast. There is a wheat beer quality to this, and some pleasant soft citric notes. The carbonation is softer than usual. Some soapy notes. Not an awful lot going on, but certainly drinkable. The dirty aspects to it give it some character. A rough, powdery hop bitterness finishes the typical cheap East European lager feel to the whole thing. Slightly daft. earthy, spruce, cereal, cooked vegetables, licorice, amber, sparkling, rocky head, white foam, medium sweetness, very bitter, heavily sour, umami, full body, creamy, oily feel, bitter, long finish, estpiwo (1319) - ESTONIA - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle. Hazy golden color. Grassy aroma. Taste was light fruity, more malty, but with hoppy tones. Another non filtered brew from Baltic bigger breweries occupied by giants. But not bad. FatPhil (16891) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 10, 2011
500ml bottle (Maxima?, Vilnius)envane (572) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Slightly hazy yellow. Soft sweet light malty aroma. Gently perfumey. Soft smooth palate, pleasant carbonation. Simple sweet taste, no sharp corners, but nothing interesting either. Finish is lightly perfumey, and has a gentle hoppy bite too. For Svyturys, this is pretty good, it actually has a beery taste.
Cloudy yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is grassy yeast. Medium sweet malt with pinapple and yeast and a dry nobel hop finish.
