Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours hazy, pale yellow with a faint, white foam head. Bready malt nose, some straw. Light sweet flavor, lots of doughy malts, light yeast, very mild bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mild sweet finish, some lightly dry dough, crunchy and toasty hay, low bitterness. A pretty rich pale lager. Bottled. Cloudy pale yellow, creamy head. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with fairly soft mouthfeel. Fruity with sugar and grass, low bitterness. Hugely drinkable. Best lager brewed by a Carlsberg owned brewer anywhere? Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - FEB 26, 2011
Creamy, effervescent and oily/meaty at once. Definitely something more going on here with the body than the other Svyturys beers I’ve had. Fresh hop bitterness in the flavor. Best before May, 2011, from Wine of Dreams. Kind of a cloudy golden color, very effervescent. Strong grass aroma! Lemon soaked sourdough flavor with a touch of candied white bread sweetness (you know, this could go toward butter...). But these descriptors are a little generous. OK beer!
