jackl (8454) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 18, 2016
Sample @ RBWG Tampa Epic Hotel Share. Thanks to whoever brought this! Amber pour with a small head. Nose is full of caramel dessert and a bit of toasted nut and grain. Similar flavor. Pretty sweet and hop. Mild spice. Full body, oily.

3.2
ICEatALAMO (1355) - Troy, Michigan, USA - MAR 26, 2016
Bottle. The pour is a murky copper color. The aroma is that of a good barleywine, not much bourbon. The taste a tad bit of sourness to it, a faint bourbon to it. A little disappointed overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Leighton (22561) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2015
Bottle shared late night in the hotel lobby during RBWG 2015. Pours Clear amber with a bubbly tan head. Pungent caramel and vanilla on the nose. Big sweet flavor with more caramel, tannic dryness, brown sugar. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warm and sticky on the finish, caramel, toasted grains. Not bad.

3.4
Ferris (16763) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 22, 2015
Bottle - Sweet caramel an bourbon notes. Cloudy copper with a small beige head. Caramel, bourbon, cherry and Woody booze. I think a bit more age would be better.

djd07 (15704) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 22, 2015

3.5
DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 22, 2015
Tasted during RBWG post-grand tasting shit-show hotel-tasting. Hazy red orange amber color. Thin ring of head. Bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Caramel malt, dark fruit. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Some heat. Quite some heat, actually. Drinks like 14%+. I wonder what the actual ABV of this is. I’d respect it more if I knew this was 16% or so. But definitely some heat here, without a tangible reason.

4.2
decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - DEC 19, 2014
Brown pour with ruby hints and clinging tan head and lace. Aroma is brown sugar, dried fruit (raisins). Flavor is raisins, sweet malt, and a nice abv warmth. Medium bodied with good carbonation. solid BW JCW
