Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium white head. Aroma is floral, clove, and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with brett, bready malt with lingering dry finish, very good. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 25, 2013
bottle @ home, thanks to jake. gusher. hazy golden orange pour with an enormous white head. nice funky and fruity nose. pear, apple, and pineapple. leather, some grass, and yeast. brett? flavor is nowhere near as good. some pineapple and pear, but a lot of pepper, chalk, and metal. sweet sugar and a bit of yeast. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Bottle. I should give this one a 5 just for the deer in head lights look Damico gave as he opened it and it began to gush everywhere, including drenching my phone. Biggest gusher I have seen in a very long time. Funky, yeast, bready, rotted fruits, and some citrus. Decent beer even if 90% ended up on Tom’s bar ... Biggest gusher I have ever seen, half the bottle on Toms bar. Wow! Pours golden orange with a big bubbly white head. Aroma brings some prevalent funky yeast and sweet yeast. Flavor is sweet yeast and some lightly tangy malts, and a bit of floral bitterness at the end. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Bottle from a trade. Unfortunately I let it get a little frozen... Cloudy appearance, good yeasty aromas and taste.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a hazy gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet grains with a good amount of banana esters with a touch of clove and other light fruits. Flavor is similar with sweet grains throughout and some light banana esters and just a touch of Belgian yeast. DialSquare (5029) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 18, 2013
750ml bottle from fermentation bottle shop. murky yellow-gold pour with a huge pillowy white head. aroma is lightly funky, bread, belgian yeast. taste is sweet candy fruit and honey balanced with big yeast and background spice. even bitter finish. pretty nice. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Bottle from Fermentation Market. Hazy deep golden pour with a large rocky white head. Aroma of old cheesy, doughy, dirty diapers, hay light spice and citrus. Funky, cheesy yeast character up front fading in doughy pale malts, grainy sugar sweetness ending on a spicy note. Not noticeable alcohol and very lively carbonation. I do like Tripels and this one is pretty solid, but I can’t get past the shit smell in the aroma. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Thanks to Dosbeerigos for busting this one out. I believe this one was kind of a gusher. None the less it had a nice spicy citrus aroma and drank very typical of most tripels. PhilTheThrill (25) - Florida, USA - MAR 21, 2013
thanks to anne marie at the abbey for the bottle sharesies:
in bottle at mermaid juice
this is awesome. just a beautifully simple tripel. (also why does the autocorrect on ratebeer change tripel to triple) smells a little yeasty, applesauce, orange... taste here is just so light and airy which is what i want out of a triple - i don’t want those super bang you over the head tripels. i think i like every new swamp head beer i have a little more - big ups to the new florida beer boys. we’re getting new stand outs all the time.
