From a can. Tastes like almost clear amber with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like grapefruit hops, some resin, caramel malt, a hint of pine, spice, and some passion fruit. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like caramel malt, grapefruit hops, some resin, and a hint of pine and spice.

Very thick head. Can. Strong grapefruit smell. One of the ore aromatic beers I can remember, which is fitting given the name. Not nearly as bitter as I would expect based off the smell. Very dry. Makes me parched. Subtle butter. Thx Homer.

Gold pour, nose typical of IPAS. Nothing stands out. Big hop bite up front that continues through the finish. A little malt backbone but not a ton. Definitely a hop lovers beer.

Appearance: deep gold with thick off-white head with good retention. just a shade of hazyness and decent lacing present. Aroma: all citrusy, spicey hops with hints of mandarin and grapefruit Taste: bready/caramely malt flavors attempt to balance (not all successfully) the strong bitterness and citrusy, resiny hop flavors as mentioned above. Palate: astringency on the strong side, its medium bodied with resiny texture and lively carbonation. Overall: balance is a difficult word to use with IIPAs (this one is borderline) or even IPAs... but I like the flavors I taste. Not my favorite IPA by any means, but I like it.

Hazy amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Pungent aroma of resinous, piney hops and late arriving caramel malts. Copacetic flavor early on as the undertones of citrus and pine stayed assertive. Seemed to be a drop off in the fullness of the body for a short clip but resurfaced a little stronger in the aftertaste.

Can from Publix. Pours mostly clear dark orange with a mostly white head. Aroma is light pine. The flavor has moderate hop bitterness, but seems to be missing the HUGE amounts of hop flavor remarked about in the description. Sweet finish that drifts towards sweet IIPAs which I dont care for. A bit thin.

Draft pour at Paws. Muddy caramel color pour with a thin head. Caramel malt forward aroma, with sweet fruit, and hiden hops. Very nice flavor to this one. Hops are more dominant, rich, caramel malt constant, and a cool refreshing finish. Not the prettiest looking IPA, but quite tasty.
