Aroma has notes of vanilla, spice, and earthy tones w/ slight hint of chocolate. Pours dark brown. A malty slightly sweet at the beginning finishes a little bitter. Flavors of chocolate, kindda creamy, and dark roasted coffee.
750 ml bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, charcoal, pine, earthiness and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Bottle shared at The Cad’s 10 year get together. 29/03/2015.Aroma is coco powder, light pine. Hazed orange, caramel brown coloured pour with a lasting cream head. Flavour is composed of standard black ipa stuff, roast black malts, some earthy pine. Firm bitterness.

Bottle @ RBWG on the Brewbus. Thanks to whoever shared this! Brown pour with a small head. Sort of a soapy start to the nose that gives way to pine cones and fresh-tilled warth. Toasted bread and softly sweet yeasty character. Flavor of pointed pine hoppiness. Cracked black pepper. Medium body, soft carbonation.
