3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours orangish yellow, a little cloudy. Aroma is hoppy and sweet, but seems like it might be a bit too sweet. Luckily taste is not so, but is a light hop and dry with some minor wheat finish. Palate is a little unpleasantly thin, but like a wheat ale.
A pretty boring lightly sweet wheat beer. Not really a lot going on, which I guess is pretty good if you like drinking and don’t really want your experience to be particularly affecting. Could certainly be worse, but I’m not crowing for them to bring this one back. dimenhetfield (2554) - , Florida, USA - JUL 8, 2013
On draft at Cigar City. Nice aroma of wheat, citrus, orange peel and slight hops. Pretty decent and very much a FL beer. 48FanInCali (857) - California, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Growler. Hazy golden pour with thin white head. Fairly piney on the nose and taste but enough sweetness to make this a decent lawnmower beer. Similar to Gumball Head with a little less punch. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2013
On draft at Swamp Head. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Nose is some light wheat, some bread, some light grassy and piney hops. Flavor follows with light bread and sweet malt with some grassy hops and bits of pine. Light in body and a nice session-ish beer with good Florida tolerance. Pours a clear orangish brown on tap with pillowy white head and light lacing. Aroma is faint, wheat, grain, bready malts. Taste follows, thin on the palate and lacking any real flavor. Meh. JBVatkeens (48) - Florida, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Had this on tap, nice golden color, decent head and lacing. Has a fruit smell and taste. tricyclist (1125) - Florida, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Pint pour of crisp yellow with full finger fluffed white head. Nose is citrus and wheat/malty grains, grassy. Flavor is malted wheat, light citrus, smooth with light notes of hops in the back. Smooth body... Nothing amazing. rbrazell (1763) - Florida, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Draft at Fermentation. Hazy golden pour with a white head. Aroma is very yeasty, sour dough, pale wheat grains and subtle citrus. Flavor is similar with a dry yeasty finish. Not bad.
