Tap-almost completely black color with a small tan head, at least when it arrived at the table. Deep coffee aroma and that was it. Taste of roasted coffee with chocolate following. Medium carbonation and smooth finish. WOB Viera BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Draft at Hopjacks Pensacola. Classic dark stout pour with a brown head. Sweet aroma that reminds me of dark caramel or toffee. Flavor is similar to lightly sweetened coffee with a hint of bitterness. Very tasty. b3shine (8874) - Indiana, USA - DEC 21, 2014
Draft to taster at Tomoka. Looks good; a slightly translucent very dark brown with foamy beige head. Smells of dark malt, coffee, and a nice balance of roast. Tastes like it smells with a somewhat bitter mouthfeel. Enjoyable. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 30, 2015
On tap @ Swamp Head. Black in color with a thin khaki head. Really nice coffee aroma. Kind of nutty, somewhat toasty, and a good bit of roasted malts. There’s plenty of licorice and dark cocoa, too. Flavor is more just roast forward and the carbonation is really lacking. It’s kind of chocolatey, I suppose. Some coffee grounds and a little bit of a green pepper note. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 20, 2016
Dark brown body with a small tan head. Aromas of chocolate/coffee/smoke. Flavor is a little bitter with the taste of chocolate and roasted malts.

Tap at Dunedin brewery. Poured black with a thin brown head. Primary notes of roasted malt in the nose with lesser notes of chocolate, and a hint of coffee. Medium to slightly thin body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor is hard roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, and a hint of coffee. Finishes with mild bitterness. potbeerjob (1343) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 21, 2011
so burnt up and chocolate, coffee, booze. Black as night and really quite nice. OmegaX (1374) - Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Draft at CCB. Pour is, of course, black with a tan head. Nose is light chocolate and copious amounts of roast and coffee. The taste is straight up roasted coffee beans. LOTS of roast. If you like coffee stouts, then this one should fit the bill quite nicely. Unfortunately there isn’t much else going on in the flavor but it’s still a nice brew. zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - APR 13, 2012
Pours dark brown with a tan head and aroma of coffee. Taste is sweet, heavy on espresso and coffee as well as chocolate, oatmeal, and roasted malts with a dry finish. Nice coffee flavor throughout, solid stout. Rustyham (1836) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Thinner mouth feel, but big flavor, coffee, burnt toast and roasted malt. Chocolate, but more of a deep dark chocolate. the coffee that I’m tasting is definitely Ethiopian. this is a pretty rough beer with a cool mouth feel.
