On tap at Proof. Sparse notes: Grainy aroma. Tastes were bread, grass, honey. Had a tinny metallic vibe. Wasn’t horrible, but not my fav. rbrazell (1763) - Florida, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Draft at Proof. Clear golden pour with a white head. Aroma of grains, creamed corn, light grass, and sweetness. Flavor is the same and ends a bit sweet and crisp. Not bad. JAF737300 (1291) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2012
Pours hazy light amber with dense notes of cereal that push harder on the palate with some light grass notes. burg326 (5607) - Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2012
On tap poured a cloudy yellow color, aromas of grass, clean grains, and light cereal. Flaovrs the same, no bitterness, a decent treat in the heat. drowland (9077) - Georgia, USA - MAY 6, 2012
5/6/12. On tap. Slightly hazed golden pour with a frothy off-white head that fades fast and laces a teensy bit. Light aroma of pale malts, honey, and grass. Light flavor as well with grainy pale malts, a hint of sweetness, and some grassy hop aspects as well. Laid back, but not offensive. HonusWagner (2226) - Florida, USA - JAN 26, 2012
A light, inoffensive blonde ale, perfect for summer drinking. Unfortunately, most of the Gainesville bars didn’t seem to have this beer on until mid-fall; I think I drank my first glass in October. But in a world of summer ales akin to Katy Perry, this was more of a Ke$ha. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 3, 2011
On draft at Cigar City. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Nose is light malt, some grassy hops, and a bit of grains. Flavor is similar with light malt, some mild grassy hops, and a bit of grains. Light in body finishing clean after a short stop at mild hops. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Draft. Pour is blonde with virtually no head - I’m guessing this is the bartender incompetence more than anything else. Aroma is grassy hops, biscuit, light melon. Taste is nice and doughy with a good amount of grass. Palate is clean, soft carbonation, light body, low bitterness. Very competent golden ale although hardly a stand out in the style.
