Drought. Hazy yellow with off white foamy head, hops aroma, bitter hoppy taste, fizzy, long finish. Nice beer to close the curtain after dinner.

I think I must have had this up at Vertigo... but it was a long night. Sweet caramel malts, citrus, pine, floral. Little bready. Nice enough.

Cask at Fermentation. Hazy deep gold pour with a small bubbly white head. Fresh, dank, piney hop aroma with some sweet pale malt backing. Flavor is solid floral piney and resinous hops with some slightly chewy malt backbone. Lingering bitter finish. Not bad.

Draft at Vertigo. LIght amber pour with a white head that laces. Aroma of piney and citrus hops with a decent crystal malt backing. Flavor same same aroma and has a nice bitter ending to it. Pretty good.

PorterPounder (8364) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - Fermentation Lounge - on cask. Murky dark orange pour, light white bubbly head. Resiny Spruce-like aroma with some floral notes. Flavor has some juicy fruit gum accents, a touch of tangerines, some nectarine fruitiness, overall more sweet than bitter - "candy-like" best way to describe it. Nice thickly textured mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Tallahassee, Fl - Momo’s Pizza - on tap. Dark orange pour, off-white bubbly head that leaves plenty of thick lacing. Spearmint and light spruce in the aroma. Flavor has a nice mild subtle citrus bent to it with some nice subtle nutty undertones. Thick enough mouthfeel. Overall, refreshing.

My Bottom Line:
This generic American Pale Ale shares light caramel and mild citrusy hop resins.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the misty dull amber.
-Malts offer subtle toast aromas as well.
-Drinkability is quite high, which is the point I’m sure, but the flavor profile and aroma are very forgettable.
-Mouthfeel is lean.
-Aroma is deficient for what I like in the style.

On tap at Coffee District.

Wow this was bigger and better than expected. Pours hazy golden with a huge creamy sandy head. Flavors bring juicy citrus notes and hops and malts blended. Body is huge and thirst quenching, as described, making it impressive for a pale ale!

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2015 A decent pale ale with nice sweet citrus. Had on tap at Smokehouse in Fainesville. Light and fruity with a good back end bite. Becomong one of my favorite american pales. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper and creamy off white head. Tropical fruit, bready base, well developed. Great smooth yet big bitterness. Drinkable with nice prickly carbonation. Great balance between fruity bitterness and a malty base. Really nice and typical American IPA. (On tap at Satchels on Florida trip)
