Light and refreshing, yet busting with flavor. We add Florida Tupelo honey to a traditional cream ale, and just a touch of hops, to update this American classic. This is what a light beer should bee! Tupelo honey is produced from the tupelo gum tree which grows profusely along the Chipola and Apalachicola rivers of northwest Florida. Here in the river swamps, bees are placed on elevated platforms along the river’s edge or on floating barges; the bees fan out through the surrounding Tupelo-blossom-laden swamps during April and May and return with their precious treasure. This river valley is the only place in the world where Tupelo Honey is produced commercially. Tupelo Honey is considered to be the finest quality honey in the world and is the only variety certified for varietal purity. It costs a bit more, but we think you will find that it produces a crisp light beer that rivals the finest lagers in the world. Ingredients: American barley malts and corn Florida Tupelo Honey New Zealand organic Hallertau hops Production Targets: Original Gravity: 14 Brix IBUs: 17.9 Alcohol By Volume: 5.9%

Beer pours a clear golden yellow color with thin white lacing. The aroma is slightly musky with some lactic notes. The palate is light yet creamy, also slightly musky. Overall very nice lighter style beer that would go down beautifully on a hot summer day. Not a cream ale drinker typically but I really dig this particular ale.

Pours a light hazy yellow. Aroma of lemon zest. Taste is sweet with a note of honey throughout most of the finish. With a slight dry bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Swamp Head. Clear, pale straw colored beer with a white head. Kind of crackery and a lot of lemon. Very dry, lightly bitter, and a touch on the grainy side. A mild ester quality and a touch of chlorine. Very heavy on the grass and straw. Okay for a blonde ale or whatever they’re calling this.

ExpendableHero (925) - Florida, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Hazy golden brew with orange hues. Aromas of wheat and not much else. Tastes of some sweet honey, wheat, corn mash, and mild floral notes. Slightly creamy mouth feel. Refreshing and ends on a slightly sweet honey note. Not bad, but not all that memorable.

Draft at Epcot food and wine 2015. Gold. Honey and lemon with grains. Standard cream ale. Not bad on a hot day.

12oz can. Cloudy straw/gold tone & a moderately high, off-white head. Seemed slightly infected with a hint of rotting grain/wood. No best-by date...

Draft at Maggie’s Attic. Golden color and poured with minimal head. Tart and light-bodied with wheat, hay, lemon, citrus peel, and bready sweetness. I wasn’t crazy about this one but it’s a decent thirst-quencher.

DocJitsu (2004) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - JUL 19, 2015
Pours a very pale yellow color with white head. Sweetened Lemon zest knows. Very mild flavors. Nothing offensive at all. Very easy drinking summer beer.

Aromat lekko słodowy, ale też leśny, delikatnie cytrusowy. Brak piany, klarowne, złote. W smaku słodowe, delikatna ziołowa goryczka. W odczuciu wysoko nasycone, ale nadal dość gładkie i kremowe.
