Tap at Craftheads. Malty and caramel forwards nose with some very light pine and maybe grapefruit in there. Soft carbonation with a medium body. Hides the abv quite well. More toffee and toasted caramel. Finishes smooth and well-balanced. Kind of boring for the abv. biirusaikou (2705) - - JAN 3, 2016
Draught at The Aldgate. Rich maltiness, caramel and red fruit with floral notes, bittersweet finish. Good but not so outstanding for the abv I guess. minihame2 (641) - Oulu, FINLAND - DEC 17, 2015
Brown, reddish colour, small capuccino coloured head. Mild aroma, faint malts, some citrus and caramel. Soft taste, nothing much at first but the aftertaste is nice and bitter. Silky smooth mouthfeel, little carbonation. Decent ale overall. Thisis12ptfont (1191) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - APR 11, 2014
On tap @ Popeye, Tokyo. Aroma is hops, amber malts and caramel. Appears a deep amber with a crimson tint and no foam at all. Taste is assertive hops, herbs and strong metallic overtones. Mid palate silky, syrupy malts, caramel and hop resin. Overall, it’s a bit bland but still hoppy and fresh. B rating. KansaiBeerLvrs (5141) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 28, 2013
On tap at Swan Lake Pub Edo. A crystal clear reddish brown. Malty sweet with a citrus hoppy nose. A clean red ale with malty biscuit, caramel, some peppery notes & possibly rye grain notes. Very solid.

Draught at Bungalow. Red amber colour with slightly off-white head. Sweet cherry aroma with some hops. Flavour is similar, but with more hops. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 25, 2013
My Bottom Line:Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 16, 2013
Deeply earthy, floral hops scent this unique Imperial Red Ale while caramel malt and resinous hop bitterness share the second half of each sip.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the deep amber haze.
-Hops also carry black pepper-like and citrusy undertones.
-Alcohol is well-hidden.
-Although this is certainly not a lean brew, I didn’t find it overly sweet like others. Perhaps this keg was carbonated more aggressively (it was quite prickly)?
On tap at Q-Brick.
Draught at Yellow Ape Craft. Clear amber/red - white head. Nice malty. Toasted. Knækbrød. Fruity hoppy. Nice bitterness. Amber malty. Light sharpness. Lovely.

Tap at the Griffon at Shinjuku. Hazy orange colour with a small off-white head that leaves a heavy lacing. Spicy caramel, hops aroma. Flavour is fruity, raisin, malt. TimE (5808) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAR 20, 2013
Full bodied, thick caramel and strawberries. Lacked depth and was pretty straightforward and boring.
