Tap at Osaka-jo Craft Beer Holiday Fall 2016. Big malty nose, ripe fruit, leather, and spice. Bright copper color. Thick, fruity initial, stewed peaches, sweet plums, and considerable alcohol presence. Heavy body, a touch low on carbonation. Rich, malty stuff, and not cloying at all. shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - OCT 18, 2014
Tap at Cafe de Tete. Aroma is pineapple, resin, hops, bit of stink, tropical fruits. Easy drinking in spite of alcohol and full body. I think this was the first batch so has been aged a year or so. Taste is fruit and minerals. Nice enough but maybe lacking something.

Way too heavy and syrupy body. Some nice hop action but his got too much, too cloying too quick. This brewery is generally top notch, but this felt rushed and not fully thought out. biirusaikou (2705) - - JUN 13, 2014
Starts up with a nice fruity orange nose, but quickly gets quite boozy with some alcohol burn finish. Too bad, early promising hoppiness drowned in pure ethanol... TimE (6267) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 30, 2013
Deep amber color. The nose has soft hops with apricots and oranges. The body is malt accented and though hops are present they don’t really balance the full bodiness of the beer. I can see that the beer was well made and it is an amped up version of the regular IPA, which is really lovely, but I don’t think the recipe works so well at 10%. A 7.5% version might be ok. Overall not bad, but I am not rushing to try this again.

Tap at Tadg’s. Dark golden color, cloudy, with a high head. Tropical fruit nose, citrus, orange, passion fruits. Sweet flavor, honey, a bit syrupy, malty, with great furits. Prickly finish, very bitter. Alcohol noticeable. Good, but a bit unrefined.
