(En fût au Pub Edo): Essence de fleurs, résine verte et poivrée, des sucres boisés et une finale de sous-bois. willisread (3948) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 29, 2016
Tap at Aldgate. Grassy, citrus and woody pine nose. Raspy carbonation on the palate with some light prickliness. Finishes bitter and dry. Enjoyable IPA.jc1762 (1693) - JAPAN - DEC 10, 2015

Re-rate: Tap at crafthands. Pretty mudane and one-dimensional but not bad. Very British and boring. On tap at Pub Edo. Copper with a big foamy off-white head. Piney and resiny hop aromas with a nice biscuity toffee nose as well. Perfectly well-balanced...almost to a fault. Average carbonation and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Medium body. Biscuit and caramel malts become more prominent as it warms up. Nice bitter finish. Solid IPA.
Poured into a tall shaker showing dark honey gold with no head.
The nose barely shows very subtle tropical fruit-like hops.
The palate is moderately carbonated and medium bodied. The palate is clean and refreshing with barely perceivable tropical fruit notes and a strong bitterness on the finish. BuckeyeBoy (9218) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 6, 2015
On tap at molto. Pours out a cloudy copper topped with a nice head. Nose is pine citrus hops and a nice cereal malt. Taste is more of the hop mix and nice mellow malty sweetness. biirusaikou (2705) - - NOV 18, 2014
Classic pine/citrus hop flavors, biscuit malt, dry bitter finish. Drinkable but fairly uninspiring and forgettable.

Draught at Bungalow. Copper with big white head. Aroma has pine hops and something funky. Flavour is much more well balanced. Smooth pine, resin hops, mild grapefruit finish. This beer definitely grew on me. beer-yum (2005) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 26, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2014 Sampled on tap at their Tokyo pub along with a few other of their (Swan Lake) beers. Given the quality of those, I was surprisingly disappointed in this brew and figure I may have come across a bad batch. Will endeavour to try again and re-rate but until then I have to say you’d better look elsewhere if you’re after an IPA. KansaiBeerLvrs (5578) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 10, 2013
On tap at Bungalow, 600 yen 10oz, 7%. A slightly cloudy orange gold with a good head of foam. A nice pine aroma with some dankness, definitely west coast hops. The flavor is bitter, pine, grapefruits, grapes, quite fruity & with a dry finish. Tasty stuff, a solid IPA. I am glad to see these guys diversifying into new styles & making a good show of it too. My Bottom Line:Westkyoto77 (640) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 17, 2013
Striking rose water hoppiness streams through this lean India Pale Ale, as lightly biscuity malts are swept by a resinous bitterness aftertaste.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty amber-y golden.
-The slender body and polite bitterness (for an IPA) make for high drinkability.
-That floral hop profile might be forceful to some, but it sure is memorable and distinctive (tons of geraniol while not being brashly intense like a Citra bomb, for example).
-The symmetrical artificial gas impressions which this tap version carries don’t serve the mouthfeel too well.
-This is not trying to be West Coast-like even though the hop character is definitely at the forefront.
On tap at Eni-bru.
On tap at Green Bashamichi. Nice nose of hops, citrus, delicate spice. Smooth in the mouth, nice clean bitter finish. Very quaffable.
