Not a strong flavor beer. Tastes great though! People that don't like the taste of beer will enjoy this.

Pours a clear amber-red with minimal head. Smells of hay, caramel, nuts. Taste is sweet, mildly bitter, very malty bread flavor with a mild hops finish. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2010
On tap at the Renn Faire. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a small sized head. Aromas and tastes of toastiness, nuts, and some caramel. I also noted down saw dust. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - OCT 9, 2010

Reddish with a just off white cover. Aroma is light sweetness, dry, grassy hops, apples. Taste is much the same, a light frutiness, sweet malt, but then a light bitter and generally dry finish.

Draft at PA Ren Faire opening weekend. Pours ruby with dark brown hints and off-khaki head. Nose is malty, with red winey grape, toffee, and earthy notes. Tastes malty, with earthy, red winey flavors; not sweet, but very malty throughout and with a hefty palate that stays very tasty throughout.

Draft at PA Ren. Fair. This one was tapped on Sept. 2nd or 3rd, and I was very impressed with it. Poured deep brown with little head. The aroma was malty, with some nuts, peat, and chocoff. The taste was malty, nutty, with malt, and some finishing hops and cacao flavors. Smooth finish, and crisp. Swashbuckler beers impress me greatly.
