From sampler at the source. Fruity with some spice, but the belgian yeast is not as main of a player as the fruitiness. Nice! 14.3 nuplastikk (6313) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Tap at Vintage. Slightly cloudy golden-orange. Thin off-white head. Not much of an aroma for a IIPA, certainly more Belgian than IPA. Sweet and fruity. OK, but sort of unimpressive. Not a bad beer per se, but very brewpubby, not even competing for World Class accolades. Sort of ugly garbage undertones, like a 40oz with a lot of hops. The off tones come out more and more as it warms. Should have been abandoned. Sub par, unimpressive. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Cloudy dark orange amber. Medium to small off-white head, partially lasting, little lace. Fruity, citrus, topical. Belgian yeast. Moderate hoppy, fair sweetness. Some alcohol. Medium body. Enjoyable. demmbonz (732) - Erin, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Tap at the source. Beautiful hazy light copper. Long lasting pillowy head. Nice hop aroma and flavor with a little belgian spiciness from the yeast. Quality brew. arkurzynski (2446) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2012
On tap at source. Hazy orange with light brown hues. Aroma of rustic pine, fruity hops, and light Belgian yeast. Flavor has nice up-front catty pine hop bitterness that gives way to a nice malt character with Belgian candy, light caramel/toasted malt, and mild spice. Nice herbal-pine finish. Best of both worlds. Not too dry on the finish, with enough malt to match the bitterness. Well done.

Sampled on draught at the Great Taste of the Midwest 2012 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy golden pale with an average sized off-white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light tropical fruit and citrus. Flavor has more distinct Belgian yeast presence with multi-grain malt, grapefruit and some citrus rind. Finish has a mild bitterness with aftertaste of golden grain and Belgian yeast. A solid Belgian IPA. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - SEP 29, 2012
On tap at Vintage 9/29, pours a hazy yellowish orange with a thin head, aroma has touches of tropical fruit and citrus with a little bit of the yeast coming through, flavor has more spices on the front end with a sweet finish, I was wanting more of the ipa to show through esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 9, 2012
On tap at Vintage Brewpub pre-GMTW 2012. Murky amber with a thin off-white crown. Aroma is nice and tropical with mango, melons and citrus backed up a decent amount of caramel. Taste is fruity with melons and tangerines, caramel, fruity yeast with a semi-tart and semi-bitter finish. Nice effort, one of the better Belgian IPAs I’ve had.
