hazy amberish pour with a nice sized head. Aroma of toasted caramel, oat, and a touch of citrus hops. A bit of peppery spice note round it out. Finishes lightly bitter, chewy mouthfeel. Nice. Skyview (6076) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 5, 2013
On draught at the Sweet Mullets brewery taproom, just west of Oconomowc, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy caramel amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of fruity caramel malt, some floral hops, burnt caramel, toffee and a hint of pear. Taste is medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of burnt caramel malt, some dobblebock-ish yeast, floral hops and some dried hard fruits. Finish is semi-sweet, smooth and malty with some burnt caramel malt aftertaste. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 22, 2012
On tap at Sweet Mullets. Hazy copper with a medium creamy tan head. Aroma is malty with toffee and caramel. Taste is malty with fruit, caramel, earthy spices and mild pepper. Sweet and decent. arkurzynski (2446) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Growler from the source. Hazy brown-amber in color. Aroma of tart and tangy dried fruit, caramel, and herbal hops. Flavor is a refined caramel and toasted malt flavor with more of that citrus orange/mandarin tartness and a light herbal hop finish. Balanced towards the malty side, this brew reminds me of a Maibock with a little something extra. Medium palate. Fruity, tangy, enjoyable.

Mild aroma. Amber colored. Very sweet and malty with a lot of caramel flavor. As it warms a bit you begin to taste the burnt caramelization of the super heated rocks that were thrown in there. Nice brew.
