3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. The pour was a cloudy medium golden amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that had good retention and left behind some spotty residue that produced some nice sketchy lacing.
The aroma was a little on the weak side with some citrus and floral hops, grain and straw malts and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel, toffee, orange and grapefruit.
The taste was lightly sweet and a tad acidic with a hint of caramel and maybe some orange from the onset but quickly became very hoppy and bitter with a strong crisp citrus finish. The flavor only lasted a short while after the swallow and the taste mostly consisted of a hopped up grapefruit.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery yet dry in texture with a medium carbonation.
Overall a nice light refreshing Pale Ale with a big dose of citrus. Most definitely could/would drink a few of these.
Hazy yellow pour with lots of carbonation and a lasting head. Light lacing on the side of the English pint glass. Nice citrus aroma. A little Less hop bitterness than most American pale ales which is a good thing. Light body with a slightly dry finish. Not bad at all. harrisoni (18819) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2017
Bottle from GBBF 2017 and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour lasting cream head i thought a fairly drinkable and likeable hoppy pale ale. Good bitterness. I just thought it was really well put together. Some peach apricot fruit. Some grapefruit bitterness on the finish. A little harsh maybe but i liked it. 05barnold (37) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2017
Drank from the bottle. Great cascade hop aroma. Would definitely purchase and drink again.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2017 Draft from LGA airport. Pours milky gold in color. Good flavor, but very light. Easy to drink and would save for a day where I want to drink a lot. nathanvc (541) - Brugge, BELGIUM - JUL 8, 2017
On a flight to Seattle. 33cl can, poured into a nice plastic cup. Pours hazy dark golden with a lasting, foamy, white head. The aroma contains hops, malt, corn/grain, grass and orange. It tastes light sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Short, hoppy finish, thin body, watery/slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Quenching, nice introduction to the style.

Had this in 2014, and remember it as being better then--more of an orange color, a bit of caramel taste. Now it’s a pretty average "extra pale ale". Kind of nondescript hops, probably a bit too bitter for a pale ale. maupie (1098) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - JUN 19, 2017

I'm totally digging this beer. It's light easy to drink but boy does it pack some massive flavor. Enjoy some 420 with your 420 for a special blend of magic
