Flat 750 ml bottle from Lost Abbey? (flat like some of Tommys beers of yore) but actually from Tavour. Black with a tiny partial layer of tan bubbles. Nose is chocolate, very light vanilla, tobacco, and bourbon. Flavor is lightly sweet with a hint of bourbon and a mild alcohol warmth. Decent and drinkable.

Pours like motor oil and extremely little suds. Aroma however is potently oaky and sweet. Carbonation remains but subtle and heavy on the palate. - Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler from Pats. Pours black with thin brown head. Aromas of bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, and some dark fruit. Big bourbon and sweet chocolate flavors with roasted malt. Full body with minimal carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel.

11 Oz tap. Pours pitch back author a thin brown head. Tons of chocolate and fig in the nose. Flavor is milk chocolate, fig and prune, roasty malt linger transitioning to alchohol. Full body with a creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation and warm alcohol. Overall, super delicious, like a fruity chocolate shake in a beer.

Draft. This is a really nice one, it is boozy in flavor but not super hot, big cocoa notes, not as sickly sweet as some.

Love it. Near black, but really dark brown pour. Minimal head. Aroma is chocolate, a little vanilla and some alcohol. Taste brings bourbon and raisin forward. Exceptional.

Another great bourbon barreled stout. Pours a beautiful thick, deep black with a brown head. Smells of bourbon, cream and spicy herbs. Taste is similar, very creamy, with dark herbs and bourbon in the finish. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
