750ml corked bottle. Rich chocolate aroma with notes of vanilla, bourbon, coffee and oak. Pours black with a very thin light brown head that has no retention or lacing. Starts with sweet chocolate flavors with a little bit of coffee as well as a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with excellent bourbon, vanilla and oak flavors with a hint of warming booze. Excellent!

Flat 750 ml bottle from Lost Abbey? (flat like some of Tommys beers of yore) but actually from Tavour. Black with a tiny partial layer of tan bubbles. Nose is chocolate, very light vanilla, tobacco, and bourbon. Flavor is lightly sweet with a hint of bourbon and a mild alcohol warmth. Decent and drinkable.

Pours like motor oil and extremely little suds. Aroma however is potently oaky and sweet. Carbonation remains but subtle and heavy on the palate. - Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler from Pats. Pours black with thin brown head. Aromas of bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, and some dark fruit. Big bourbon and sweet chocolate flavors with roasted malt. Full body with minimal carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel.
