Sampled at the Trail Magic release party. Pours light copper with off-white head. The aroma is dank with herbal hops and some slight fruitiness. The flavor is general hoppiness with some fruit. The hop character seems more muddy than bright, but it’s still a pretty tasty beer. Lowe1983 (1621) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is strong of floral hops and caramel malts with not much else. Flavor is similar with some bitter finish. Overall I was hoping for more. osu97gp (678) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Pours an orange color with a large off-white head. Aroma of citrus and malts. Flavor of sweet malts and light citrus and floral hops. Some decent bitterness at the finish. Easy to drink but not quite a DIPA or IIPA. GTAEgeek (2338) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAR 9, 2012
22 oz. bottle. Pours dark copper with a thin beige head and nice lacing. The aroma is strong hop notes of pine, resin and flowers. The flavor is very bitter, with nice malt balance. The palate is medium to heavy, a little astringent, and smooth. Overall, this is a great feeling, tasty IPA.

Orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Citrusy orange hops and bread on the aroma. Sweet caramel malt, abv, and resiny hop flavor. Smooth carbonation and medium body. Nice beer. BeeriedEyed (211) - USA - MAR 7, 2012
Such a hoppy brew. 420 is great but this beer has so much more bitterness. Glad I got to sip on it. arkurzynski (2456) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 29, 2012
Bottle thanks to GAManiac. Deep orange with off-white head. Aroma is floral grapefruit, light citrus, and bready caramel malt. Taste is citrus bitterness with a very solid caramel and biscuit malt backbone. Finishes lightly dry with some residual bitterness, but ultimately a lot of sticky, fruity caramel malt. Decent, but would prefer more hops. Ratman197 (15216) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - FEB 24, 2012

22 ounce bottle - $5.99 at Olde Crabapple Bottle Shoppe in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a hazed, coppery body with a solid inch of lasting, near white foam.
Smell: Brightly citrusy nose of citronella and tangerine-flavored aspirin with some additional florals and soap suds ahead of the cookie sugar sweet accents (though a bit of time helps bring the latter up a bit more).
Taste: Bready, lightly grainy maltiness, and lots of it, with a pop of sweetness that precedes the rolling citrus oils and chewable children’s aspirin (again, tangerine-flavored). Medium-high bitterness. Thankfully, the aspirin edge eventually drops off from each sip leaving a fairly nice lingering of sweetish orange beyond the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Ever so slight oiliness present in the mouthfeel.
Overall: A big ole imperialized hoppy brew that, thankfully, isn’t quite as harsh as anticipated. Not nearly as esteemed as the previous Dank Tank release, Fresh Sticky Nugs, though decent enough. However, all these hoppy this-or-that Dank Tank brews are really starting to run together for me.
