Pours a dark murky brown with a generous moussey tan head. Nose is rusty, some soy, has a dubbel-ish character, spicy alcohol, dark fruit, burnt sugar. Flavor is strong and spicy, rusty malt character, dubbel again, warm alcohol. Palate is sharp and spicy, warming alcohol. reverendj (185) - Brunswick, Georgia, USA - MAR 14, 2010
The aroma is as expected, yeasty and some musty funk. Very pretty colour of hazy strong tea with a sturdy thick head. Cloves and cherries dominate the flavour up front followed by some dark raisin, a hint of banana ester, a slight hop bitterness, and a definate alcohol burn. A very thick palate and a lingering aftertaste of cherry liquor. Overall a very nice upscale offering from Sweetwater. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAR 14, 2010
Shared by dakine. Hazy brown color with a foamy head. Loaded with caramel malt, brown sugar, dark fruit, cherries and alcohol. Tasty. Thanks Dak! Cybercat (6010) - Georgia, USA - MAR 12, 2010
Pours a lovely dark and slightly hazy cinnamon-brown with a decent and not too persistent tan head. Aroma is quite strong, yeasty and fruity, slightly sweet with malty and caramel undertones - seriously tempting. Flavor is lively, yeasty and malty with strong caramel and fruity undertones - WHOA! This has quite a fierce alcohol bite! Texture is rough, tingly and sassy, leaving a lively and fizzy feeling on the tongue and inside the lips. A must!

Clear, dark brown with light lacing. The taste was sweet as any Quad would have, but with a wild cherry flavor. Very malty aftertaste that will stay in your mouth with a cherry finish. The eleven percent is hidden well, but I couldn’t drink more than one glass. bhensonb (15601) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 11, 2010
Bomber from craftbeerdesign. Thanks guy. Really looking forward to this. Pours a very dark brown with a 1 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is formidible. Dark malt. Strangely floral aroma. Full bodied with foamy carbonation. Flavor has a lot of smooth dark fruit, and there’s a lot of roasted malt for backbone. This stuff can almost be chewed. Mildly sweet, mildly bitter. Full of flavor. Heat is not detectable. Big heavy brew with great taste. Maybe a treacle/toffee finish. Great ale. FSUScott (112) - Rome, Georgia, USA - MAR 11, 2010

Appearance: Pours a dark, reddish brown with a cap of white frothy film.
Aroma: Bubble cum, banana, flowers, dark fruit.
Taste: Dark fruit, booze, vanilla and banana.
Mouthfeel: Thick, creamy and fizzy.
Overall: Simply awesome. This beer was bold and focused. I enjoyed it fresh, but could see liking it a lot more after a year. SweetWater is doing some big things with this Dank Tank Series. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - MAR 9, 2010
Deep red/brown pour white little to no head. Fruit scent with some a hint of the booze. Taste is fruit and spice. Decent and should get better.
