By far one of my favorite sweet water beers so far. Very good aroma and color. You can definitely tell its a sweet water from the first taste. Very good beer

22oz bottle. clear amber with a large, fluffy, beige head. malty nose of an in-style beer half it’s size. abv is very deceiving. tastes like a regular 5%-ish oktoberfest. lots of toasty malt with only bittering hops. i like a few floral notes but this is really good anyway. kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - OCT 9, 2012
I always try to rate to style and this one hits it in almost every way save the ABV. Pours a crystal clear orange with a medium tan head and lots of tiny bubbles. Aroma is a bit floral, bit stale lemon. Flavor is medium bodied and well balanced. Hints of bready carmel that are held up by a fantastic sazz(?) bitter that is not overpowering but...balancing. Good brew. rajendra82 (1093) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - OCT 21, 2012
Amber colored body was clear, and the head that formed was well proportioned at two fingers thick. The aroma was a nice malty smell reminding me of toffee, and caramel apples. The taste was a bit more concentrated than the typical Oktoberfest beer, which is to be anticipated considering the strength. The toasted malts and clean lager character were spot on. There a spicy hop presence in the finish, which was quite a bit of a departure from the style. evilcougar (66) - Evansville, Indiana, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Bottle from trade: hop aroma was a little less than expected..
If you like oktoberfest beers and IPAs, this is the beer for you.

Pours mostly clear deep re3ddish amber under a sticky, off-white head.
Bright, sweet fruity aroma.
Sweet and syrupy. You could pass this off as an English Barleywine. Definitely not to style for a Oktoberfest/ Marzen. Drake (13737) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Brewvival Trip Beer 20. Bomber from Bruisin Ales. Pours a clear copper color. Aroma of caramel, toffee and minty, earthy hops. The taste is bitter herbal hops, toffee malts. Medium bodied, quite drinkable. Cybercat (5834) - Georgia, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Strong aroma is malty with a woody hint and a touch of nutmeg. Pours a beautiful clear mahogany with a fairly thick light wheat head. Rich, malty flavor has subtle hoppy, earthy and caramel tones and a nutty hint. Texture is a little bit "dirty" (seems to have a little fine dust) and has good body and fizz. Prosit for Oktoberfest! jbruner (4740) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Pours a deep copper color from the bomber with thin off-white head and light lacing. Aroma of sweet german malts and hop back end. Taste follows suit, one of the best oktoberfests ever, with alcohol well hidden. Great marzen. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - OCT 16, 2012
Deep amber pour with a frothy tan head. Sweet bready malt aroma with hint of nuttiness, brown sugar, caramel with a flowery hop component. Flavor is brown sugar, toasted bread, hint of nuts with a floral/piney hop coming in on the back of the tongue. Medium bodied with a smooth creamy finish. Pretty solid Oktoberfest.
