Clear deep copper with a mostly white head. dchmela (3085) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 20, 2013
Aroma of caramel and light spruce.
The flavor isn’t sticky sweet nor hoppy and bitter. Some dryness in the finish.
Kind of an Imperial Red Ale.
Tap at WOB. Murky brown pour with an off white head. Big citrus hop aroma. Big malt body, chocolate malt citrus hops and a little spice. Tasty brew.

Strong aroma of hops. The flavor starts with predominate hop bite, but quickly melts into a bit of a grape and very slight peat. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 17, 2013
22oz bottle, shared by b3shine. Labeled 82 IBU, 8.6%. Dark red, slightly brown color. Mostly clear. Little brown, off-white head. Good bits of lace. Good bigger caramel malt. Some tropical fruit. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation, but more dry finish. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Alright imperial red, but just alright. Does not hold together very well. Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - NOV 15, 2013

Reddish brown with a decent off white head. Musty, somewhat hoppy aroma. Flavor is some grapefruit hops with a little toasted caramel. Pleasant, thought it could use a little more body to give a richer flavor. PorterPounder (8316) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Albany, Ga. - Warehouse Package Store - 22 oz bomber. Pours a deep dark brown with a thick khaki colored head that leaves a thick trail of lacing. Aroma has some heavy spruce accents, a touch of brown sugar. Full-bodied flavor with some fruity cherry notes, some bittersweet citrus notes, some brown sugar sweetness and a touch of caramel. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it. Pretty solid entrant from Sweetwater. dunn4040 (131) - Georgia, USA - NOV 12, 2013
I’m always excited to get my hands on the latest installment of Sweet Water’s Dank Tank series. I’ve landed some pretty awesome brews from it in the past. Here is goes. nearbeer (5636) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 11, 2013
Pours a deep reddish brown with a thin frothy white head. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly bitter, citrus rind, floral notes, brown sugar, and a hint of alcohol. Taste feels a little empty on the front then a wave of citrus, hops, and spices hits you, before fading away in a faint malty sweetness. Finish is rather clean, and the mouthfeel is smooth if not a bit on the thin side.
Overall this is a decent beer, and the progression of flavor you get from it is unique. Unfortunately I feel like it’s a bit on the forgettable side, as it really lacks any sort of "wow" factor.
8 oz. on tap. Clear deep brown with a thin film of cream and some nice lace. Aroma of earthy toffee, citrus and some hints of evergreen resin. Tastes of orange zest, toffee, earthy leaf and resiny wood. Medium body is tingly and watery, with smooth carbonation and a dry finish. Has all the elements of a really nice beer, but somehow they don’t quite mesh. Tmoney99 (15044) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 6, 2013
Bottle. Poured clear dark copper with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex hop and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
