11/5/13. 22oz bottle from Grassroots. Hazy red amber pour with a small khaki head that fades and laces moderately. Moderate hops aroma, lightly dank, some bubblegum and citrus, caramel and chocolate. Mild hop bitterness, plenty of chocolate in the flavor, some muted caramel and breadiness. Goes down surprisingly well for the ABV, but also surprisingly drab. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle sampled at Cajun Cafe Fall Beer Fest. Poured a mostly clear amber with an off-white head. Nose is big sweet malt, some light herbal and grassy hops, but big sweetness. Flavor is similar- lots of malt, sweet, and herbal/ grassy hops. Medium in body and a nice amber-ish ale. deyholla (11479) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle thanks to Matt! Pours a clear very dee amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains with a bit of toffee and a hint of grassy hops. Flavor has more of a combination of sweet grains, bread and grassy hops with a hint of toffee underlying. b3shine (8795) - Indiana, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Bomber to snifter (shared by me with the crew). Looks good; a semi-transparent amberish brown with off-white lacing. Smells solid; sweet, hoppy, and malty. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Good beer. DialSquare (4962) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Bomber from ABC on Apalachee. Deep brown-amber pour with thin tan head and slight spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet malt - roasty, cocoa, citrus. Tastes are herbal, pine, toffee, spices, mineral, lots of citrus. Tinny vibe in the thin slick palate. Cocoa comes through in the herbal hop finish. Overall, decent sipper.

650 ml bottle. Pours a red brown with moderate head. Fruity aromas with orange and malty notes. Flavours of oranges, toast and light pine. Suttree (6358) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Reddish copper, decent sized beige head. Smells like a caramel covered Christmas Tree. Taste is smooth, rich caramel and then peppery spruce. Not bad, but very heavy. almost distractingly so... rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bomber.
Pours a clear deep reddish-brown with a thick one finger dark tan head. Amazing head retention and lacing that is very long lasting.
The aroma has a certain chocolately character to it as well as grapefruit and pineapple. Some candy/bubblegum and caramel as well.
The bubblegum/candy sweetness carries over into the taste. There is grapefruit and pineapple from the hops but is lingers below a heavy chocolate/caramel/tootsie roll malt presence. Mouthfeel is on the thick side with a good bit of stickyness.
Overall, I like this beer but I feel it might lean a little too much towards the malty side and is a bit sticky. The hops are great but I wish they were a little more up front. A sipper for sure but a good beer.

Special beer. One of the best styles with that signature sweetwater taste that makes all their beer good! It was hard to critic this one but only thing I wanted is an imperial type body. Other than that, it’s a red hot mama!!
