Bottle. Poured clear dark copper with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex hop and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drake (13652) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Bomber from Shenanigans Lexington. Pours a dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of big grapefruit notes, toffee malts, mild earthy hop notes. The taste is strong grapefruit, tart lemon, toffee malt. Medium bodied, average carbonation, smooth, balanced. Nice beer. hopdog (12445) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 5, 2014
22oz bottle. Poured a deep amber, almost brown color with an off white head. Caramel, floral hops, some grains, and citrus. My RIP to Curtis McArthur beer ... slowrunner77 (11930) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 5, 2014
"Darkish brick red color. Hop heavy, but with plenty of malt to back it up. Earthy. lightly floral and piney, caramel and a hint of sweetness and roast to offset the bitter. Pretty nice, and easy at 8+%." deyholla (11505) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle thanks to Matt! Pours a clear very dee amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains with a bit of toffee and a hint of grassy hops. Flavor has more of a combination of sweet grains, bread and grassy hops with a hint of toffee underlying.

22 oz bottle shared with the group. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel and toffee malt, grapefruit citrus, earthy hops with a mild spicy character. Not the biggest imperial amber going. 22oz bottle, shared by b3shine. Labeled 82 IBU, 8.6%. Dark red, slightly brown color. Mostly clear. Little brown, off-white head. Good bits of lace. Good bigger caramel malt. Some tropical fruit. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation, but more dry finish. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Alright imperial red, but just alright. Does not hold together very well. b3shine (8804) - Indiana, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Bomber to snifter (shared by me with the crew). Looks good; a semi-transparent amberish brown with off-white lacing. Smells solid; sweet, hoppy, and malty. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Good beer. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - NOV 5, 2013
11/5/13. 22oz bottle from Grassroots. Hazy red amber pour with a small khaki head that fades and laces moderately. Moderate hops aroma, lightly dank, some bubblegum and citrus, caramel and chocolate. Mild hop bitterness, plenty of chocolate in the flavor, some muted caramel and breadiness. Goes down surprisingly well for the ABV, but also surprisingly drab. bytemesis (8249) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 24, 2014
Bottle. Pours crystal clear ruby red, medium creamy tan head that dissipates slowly leaving nice lacing. Aroma is caramel and pine. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, caramel and pine. Not bad, but past its prime.
