Workin’ as a caddy at Bushwood, El Danko was stoked to find out he would be shouldering Boob Barker’s bag. Figuring Boob was a swell guy who liked to have fun, El Danko slipped an exploding golf ball onto the first tee. Boob was so enraged after the ball blew, he threw a haymaker at El Danko and broke his high heel. Fearing a big lawsuit and being hammered in the tabloids, Boob offered him a rigged spot on the Price is Wrong to keep him quiet. Sure enough, down in Studio City 42 days later, Rod Roddy bellowed out to El Danko “C’mon down!” He was ecstatic as they wheeled out some fancy leather chaps and some extra crisping hair mousse, which he just purchased last week. Bidding $420 on the lot, El Danko nailed it! With a kiss from Barker ’s Beauties as the bonus, he strutted on stage and with a wink he gave a slap on the ass to Boob Barker himself. On to the big prize, El Danko was confronted with the infamous Cliff Hanger climb! Just as the yodeler was about to cliff dive off the ledge, he came to a screeching halt. The Dankster had pulled it off, winning the prize behind Door #2: Pimpin’ high heels and some private time behind Curtain #3 with Ester-y, the Belgian Barker Beauty, who 9 months later delivered the biggest surprise of all! Blam!!! El Danko is a dad living in Belgium. Jobless, he got a gig at Ester-y’s family brewery to pay for his Price is Wrong love child, Bar nold Schwarzenkegger. The Boob Barker Belgian Behemoth Boogieboy. Benjoy!

Pours a deep dark amber, roasty and hoppy aroma. Hoppy, toasty, dark malt character.

oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 2, 2015
Pours a hazy medium orangish amber color. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty, with a touch of fruit. Flavor is a nice mixture of malts and fruits.

chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 16, 2015
22 oz bottle served in a goblet. The body is clear, bright, orange-amber and is topped by a decent head. Aroma: sweet and clean; rather like some barleywines. Flavor: lightly sweet but balanced by the end. Alcohol esters aplenty but not hot. Traces of yeast and hints of flowers and herbs. O: a Belgian Strong Ale leaning towards an Amer. Strong.

SpringsLicker (3685) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 10, 2014
Deep coppery gold body under a tall white head. Sweet candy malt aroma with a bit of pine resin. The flavor is sweet malt on the front with the hop bitterness in the finish.

jw0406 (1315) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 8, 2014
750 ml bottle pours an amber color with a small white head. Aromas of sweet malt, belgian yeast. Medium bodied with a slightly boozy finish, very nice.

GreatDane1632 (1174) - North Dakota, USA - MAY 6, 2014
Rated on notes from a tasting on 2 Feb 2014 -- I gave this beer a 4.0 out of 5.0, but I honestly don’t remember the qualities. Must have been good enough.

AirForceHops (8026) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - APR 6, 2014
22 oz. bottle shared by Phatdog1. Orange color with fast diminishing fizzy head. Aroma is zesty Belgian esters and floral hops.

The flavor is just ok. Belgian yeast upfront with a sweet grain body. Very sweet transitions into some bitter floral hops in the finish. Bitterness lingers slightly. Pine resin is here and really is out of place. Light alcohol kick is here in the backend as well. Maybe a bit of age would help? I enjoy the style as a whole but this doesn’t do it for me. Maybe in another scenario this would fare better.

roxtersoxter (358) - McKinney, Texas, USA - APR 4, 2014
Pours clear amber with medium tan head out of bottle. Aroma honey, hops, citrus, and malt. Sweet flavor with a hint of hops. Good beer but was hoping for a little more hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

glennmastrange (2939) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Bottle. Moderate grain, grass and lemon for the malt and hops, musty basement for the yeast, with subtle hints of date, honey and nutmeg. Head is large, frothy, slightly off-white with heavy thick lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear, light amber/orange. Flavor starts moderate;y sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately sweet and faintly bitter. Palate is medium, between oily and creamy, with a soft carbonation, A citrus-y yet continuously sweet Belgian Strong Ale. It was tasty yet easy to drink on a hot day.

Strykzone (7796) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2014
Sampled at ESBLS. Hazy golden with a blotchy white head. Some lacing. Dank describes this well. It is also funky. Yeast with fruit and soft malts. Interesting stuff.

jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours a copper color with white head. Yeasty, Belgian, fruity aromas. Sweet, fruity flavors yet dry lingering finish. Alright.
