I can’t figure out if this beer is a joke or some sort of pornography. If someone carpet bombed Belgium with Daisy Cutters filled with hops, this beer would be the scenery on some Belgian brewer’s descent into hell. Flanders took it pretty hard in WWI and doesn’t deserve this sort of abuse. On the other hand, DIPA is pretty much all about the hops. The rest of the beer is just window dressing so why not Flemish treatments. In any case, these hops sing as they demolish the palate. Many beers claim to be hop bombs but end up being tame and balanced. This beer has no such inclination towards civility. ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Poured from bomber. Pours a copper color with a white foamy ring. Nice lacing. Loads of pink grapefruit, oranges, and lemon. Taste is of freah grapefruit juice, and other citrus rinds. Bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Thick and creamy. Another great one from the dank tank series! More of an Imperial IPA than a Belgian but still tasty Cybercat (6340) - Georgia, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Pours a clear amber with a fluffy and rather persistent ivory head. Malty aroma has a strong, resiny, hoppy overtone and woody, floral and fruity notes. Distinctive flavor wakes up the palate with yeasty, malty, floral and hoppy notes and - whoa, quite an alcohol bite, even for 9%! Smooth texture is not too fizzy, but still is lively going down and leaves a floral, hoppy finish. The price may be wrong, but the taste is right. brison (48) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 11, 2013
Very drinkable strong Belgian. Tons of banana and bubblegum. Dank tank doesn’t disappoint. suprchunk (2994) - EffOff, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Bright orange/amber colored pour. Big off-white head. Plenty of lacing as it slowly falls. Nice aroma of citrus; oranges, grapefruit, slight lemon. Pine. A bit of bubblegum as well. A bit of the bubblegum right up front with some subdued orange and pine coming next. Bitter, but just a bit. More malty sweet. Pretty damn good beer.

This brew pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that recedes gradually to a wispy film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, zesty grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Solid beer all around. jjgmd (2294) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - SEP 6, 2013
On tap at Whole Foods, Coral Springs, pours a deep copper amber color with no appreciable head. Nose is strong pleasant sweet grapefruit .Taste is bitter sweet with full tasty citrus flavors. Finish is bitter sweet and moderately long. A nice micro from a brewery that I have not really held in any high regard. 22 oz for 8 bucks. Pours a golden amber with a white head. Aroma is more reminiscent of an IPA to me; floral and citrus hops, a little malt and some spice. Taste is pretty similar too. Body is slightly thicker and creamier. I am not an expert on "Belgian" beers but this is really good. I think this is the best beer I’ve had from Sweetwater. Rated on notes from a tasting on 2 Feb 2014 -- I gave this beer a 4.0 out of 5.0, but I honestly don’t remember the qualities. Must have been good enough.
