Bottle ala CaptainCougar. Dark brown color with a small lid of tan bubbles. Brown sugar, lactose, toasted malt, hint of coffee and chocolate chips are all found in the aroma, but nothing stands out or draws you in. The start is rich with sweet roasted malt dark stewed fruit, including prunes and date. Things thin out in the middle and finish making one, unfortunately forget the start. Dry roasted malt, some iron and rust all come into play. If the start held out to the finish this would be awesome. Instead I’ve got a brew that’s like a siren leading one to ones doom. Pours a dark brown with tan head. Some floaters. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, hint of chocolate. Similar taste, kind of thin, but still pleasant. Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - MAR 16, 2012
Bottle. Dark brown hazy color with a minimal tan head. Nice taste. Smooth finish. Really nice sipping beer.

Very malty and coffee flavored porter. Just average in my opinion. The other beers out I this brewery are definitely better

Bottle. Roasty vegetal malt aroma, maybe a little nutty. Chestnut with a moderate tan head. Sweet roasty malt - not really chocolate, coffee or caramel - it’s malty, but nondescript. Light roasty bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Old rating. Run of the mill porter. Dark brown pour. Roast, chocolate, some tart presence. Medium bodied. Just okay. Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 2, 2002
Muddy coloured; cappucino aroma - frothy milk, light roast, even vague chocolate. Palate fades quickly but shows a little bit of bitter chocolate. loweredsixth (946) - Clovis, California, USA - SEP 24, 2003
Dark brown color with a large, frothy beige head. The aroma and flavor were both very slight...some nice burnt chocolate, dark fruits, and a sour cherry tone. The feel was too gassy...not smooth at all. I'm not impressed with this one. LilKem (1213) - Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAY 28, 2005
This was decent. A good porter. Good flavors of raosted a malts and good hops and chocolate. :) good aftertaste of sweet malt... nothing insane but poretty decent...
