3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. It’s brown alright and when held up to a sunlit window I could detect some reddish notes. The head was tan and thin (1/4 inch) and diminished quickly. No lacing was left on the glass. The aroma was very malty with hints of brown sugar and molasses. The taste is a bit when compared to the aroma. Oh, the taste has the malts, but I was expecting a really sickly sweet brew. I’m happy to report that was not the case. Turns out to be somewhat refreshing and surprisingly light on the palate.
12 oz bottle from Kuhn’s Market in Pittsburgh. A run-of-the-mill brown but not bad. The best thing about this beer might be the Bill Clinton quote on the label. cheap (5914) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 24, 2016
Tap public house. Yes a darker brown brew. Mild nose. First taste is interesting dark beer attribute which has a mild personality, right up my alley. In the middle of the session this brew has a tad of dark roasted charred bitterness. Just enough to let you know its an ale. Quite good, not bad. luttonm (6504) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 12, 2016
Bottle in Seattle, thanks to my brother who brought it back from source. Darkest copper red-brown, small soapy head. Stale sweet. A bit past expiry unfortunately, I’ll have to revisit. Falls apart a little, sharp malt, metallic with soft creamy robust body. Solid, but not in best shape. ippopotamo36 (2417) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 8, 2016
Bottle in Seattle USA. Dark Amber color, tan foam. Nose: dusty somehow, soft and unpercivable caramel. Mouth: mild sweet malts, cola a bit, bitter in a way.

Bottle. MOR middle of the road, neither good nor bad. In a word, meh. Nothing special, period.

Pours a deep dark golden brown color. Aromas of vanilla, brown sugar, and touches of nuts, and coffee. Flavor has a nice blend of sweetness and coffee bitter. ryrpat (375) - Illinois, USA - MAR 19, 2016
Average brown ale. Pours a nice light chocolate brown color with nice malt flavor. But lacks the finish I would hope for

Clear Dark Brown appearance with a dissipating thin white head. Thick strong malt flavor, toasty, chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with a bit of carbonation. Short nice finish of chocolate and nutty malt. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - MAR 11, 2016

Aroma has notes of malt and perhaps coffee, hints of chocolate and a bit of alcohol. Color is a nice dark brown. Malty with a nice sweetness. Light toffee and chocolate hints. Certainly possible to drink more than one.
