Bottle. The pour was a hazy copper brown with an average sized (1-2 finger) creamy beige head that lasted for a decent while thus producing some very good sheets of lace on the glass. The aroma was typical of a Brown Ale with some roasted chocolate malts, a smidgen of herbal hops and a doughy yeast with notes of coffee, caramel, brown sugar and a very light dark fruit ester. The taste was malty to say the least with mild chocolate and caramel notes from the beginning and finished about the same but with a slight hoppy bitterness, a touch of brown sugar and a strong coffee presence. The flavor hung around for a little while with the taste of coffee being the most dominant, but also having a very mild sweet bitterness to it. Mouthfeel was just a shade under medium in body with the texture being creamy and a little oily and having a medium carbonation. Overall a pretty straight forward Brown Ale. Bold and tasty, but with no surprises. Most definitely a brew you could drink a few of.

12 oz bottle from Kuhn’s Market in Pittsburgh. A run-of-the-mill brown but not bad. The best thing about this beer might be the Bill Clinton quote on the label.

Tap public house. Yes a darker brown brew. Mild nose. First taste is interesting dark beer attribute which has a mild personality, right up my alley. In the middle of the session this brew has a tad of dark roasted charred bitterness. Just enough to let you know its an ale. Quite good, not bad.

Bottle in Seattle, thanks to my brother who brought it back from source. Darkest copper red-brown, small soapy head. Stale sweet. A bit past expiry unfortunately, I’ll have to revisit. Falls apart a little, sharp malt, metallic with soft creamy robust body. Solid, but not in best shape.

Bottle in Seattle USA. Dark Amber color, tan foam. Nose: dusty somehow, soft and unpercivable caramel. Mouth: mild sweet malts, cola a bit, bitter in a way. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. MOR middle of the road, neither good nor bad. In a word, meh. Nothing special, period.

Pours a deep dark golden brown color. Aromas of vanilla, brown sugar, and touches of nuts, and coffee. Flavor has a nice blend of sweetness and coffee bitter.

Average brown ale. Pours a nice light chocolate brown color with nice malt flavor. But lacks the finish I would hope for ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma has notes of malt and perhaps coffee, hints of chocolate and a bit of alcohol. Color is a nice dark brown. Malty with a nice sweetness. Light toffee and chocolate hints. Certainly possible to drink more than one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
