COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What we have here, amigos, is my take on a proper Mexican style lager – smooth and easy to drink with a superbly clear body. I tossed in a hefty dose of El Dorado hops to give this brew slightly sweet, malty, and tropical fruit aromas. Muy sabrosa! – Travis, Brewer
Malts: 2-Row, Flaked Maize, Vienna Malt, Carapils
Hops: Hallertau, Sterling, El Dorado

Clear pale gold color with a white head and very good retention. Fair lacing. Sweet malt flavor and a short empty finish. Light mouthfeel. Clean, refreshing and crushable. Not enough caramel for an amber but I still like this.

Pours clear amber with a thin eggshell head. Aroma offers malty and subtle pomme fruit notes. Flavor is typical of a lager, more like a mega-brew than a craft brew, malty and a little fruity. Mouthfeel offers so-so body and typical fizz. OK for a party or just taking the edge off a hot day.

Attractive beer. Dark clear gold with a fairly sizable head.mdecent head retention for a lager. Nice malty character from darker malts. Not a bad lager.

12 oz. bottle from the Summer Variety 12 pack purchased at Kroger’s, bb 10/21/2017. Clear bronze with a lasting film of cream. Aroma of roasted sweet maize, toast, dried grass and honey. Tastes of honey with a touch of lemon, toasted grain and caramel. Hints of toasted nut and apple in the finish. Light-medium bodied with medium carbonation and an easy drinking balance.

Was expecting more of a pale blond ale but actually kind of pleasantly surprised here. Smooth and light and refereshing. A little more caramel. Grassy and slight bitterness on the finish.

Bottle. Milk, lemon, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Moderately sweet creamy lemon biscuit malt and moderately bitter grass/fresh hay flavor. Good body. Pretty good.

PorterPounder (8396) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Tallahassee, Fl. - Wall Mart - Mahan - 12 oz bottle. Slightly murky medium golden pour, kind of still, very faint off-white head. Grainy, wort-like aroma, hints of molasses. Solid lager flavor with some caramel and molasses sweetness, some solid cereal - like grainy notes, yeasty finish. Pleasantly thick mouthfeel.

Aurelius (5684) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Clear, bubbly, medium straw gold. Thin, beady white head. Really good embossed throwback bottle with decent labels. Aroma was muted, slightly malty. The hopping was weird on this one. Overall, effervescent, ambiguous citrus, marginally sweet, lightly bitter, somewhat savory and sausage-y. Not bad, but not sessionable and really calls for food to crutch the brew. Wal Mart, part of a mixpack.

2.8

Light, crisp, and as expected. Pale malts, not too much on the hops, probably a decent beer for spicy food.
