4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from tackle box. First let me just say this beer is crazy good. Strong flavors yet sessionable. Pours copper with minimal head and minimal lacing. Really earthy hop aroma somewhat like grapefruit from another planet. Taste is the same but with an indescribable factor there. Sweetwaters best that I’ve had. Palate is medium. Carbonation is alive along with the flavor. This is an all around good IPA. semi- complex yet simple. I could inhale it all ding dong day.
Sweet tropical fruits, ripe mango, bitter papaya, sweet, candied orange, orange peel, caramel, sweet grain malts. Clear, dark gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More bittersweet tropical fruits, mango, sweet passion fruit, tangerine, orange, pine, orange peel, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent. Keg at BrewDog, Shepherds Bush. orbit (224) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - NOV 8, 2017
Solid IPA, aroma a little bit like a sour, I was fearing for a bastard beer, but it is actually quite nice and refreshing. But a killer IPA? No, not really. Just decent enough. raymow (1787) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2017
bottled - nice golden/amber color. Nice sweet hop aroma. Hoppy, sweet and malty flavor. Pretty good. Heidbummer (881) - SCOTLAND - NOV 5, 2017
Keg, Brewdog Edinburgh. Why oh why oh why would a stateside brewery try to brew a typical English IPA. This is an amber, soft, rather boring sessionable English IPA. I didn't come here for this! Jyrsa (961) - - NOV 4, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 Bottle. Hazy medium yellow with pure white head. Dishwasher, pine and citrus. Taste follows suit. Light to medium body with slightly sticky and watery palate. A rather typical ipa.

Tasting paddle, Brewdog Oxford. 1/3 pint. Pours a clearish amber gold with a white head. Aroma: caramel malt, citrus, passionfruit, mango, grapefruit notes. Pleasant but not a strong aroma. Taste: citrus, pine, biscuity malt, mild tropical and very mild caramel flavours. Thin bodied. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Moderate bitterness that lingers. I quite enjoyed this, but still found a bit weak for my tastes. A good flavour balance and definitely worth drinking again, but it didn't stand out from the crowd by my tastes. jjsint (3492) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2017
Keg tap at BrewDog Leicester. Amber/brown, clear, with a spotty off-white head. Resinous pine, sweet herbs, cola nut, forest floor, sarsaparilla in the aroma. Wow, I was not expecting that. The taste is bittersweet and mellow, with sweet herbal notes closing out the finish. More resin in the aftertaste. A lovely IPA and not identikit like so many Anglo-American expressions of the style. leaparsons (10765) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2017 Keg, Brewdog Leicester. Clear golden with a thin head. Spicy and floral with woody pine. Biscuit base. Peppery black tea with grapefruit. Pretty resinous. Bitter finish. Good. olio (10547) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 2, 2017

Pours clear copper color with a large white head. Aroma is resinous and hoppy, pine and some orange notes, subtle caramel. Flavor has orange and subtle citrus, malt bitterness, resinous hops and some gooseberries on the lingering finish. Feels fairly fresh. Good citric IPA.
So many friends told me this beer is "great". I had to try it.
Nope. All hops and not much else. Sorry, there is more to beer than hops.
Hops helps beer, no doubt, but when 150 lbs of hops is jammed into a 12 oz bottle, I draw the line.
I will stick to my German beer. They have been doing it for centuries and they do it well.
USA crafties?? Maybe a few more centuries will help them learn the beer trade.
