Reviewed from notes. Rcvd in trade. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice hazy golden yellow to orange color with a nice looking one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. The smell had a nice allocation of Rye malt to spicy hops. The taste was mainly spicy with a touch of sweetness to it. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly nice sessionability about it. The carbonation was nice and sharpness about it. Overall, this was a pretty well done Rye IPA.

The flavor is what makes this beer great. It has a soft hoppy bite at the finish and a delicious rye malt flavor up front. Great for those who love IPAs or those who are just getting their foot in the door of drinking hoppy beer.
