Appearance: not transparent, an orange color, pours with a small beige head that fades away fast Aroma: bread, butter, malt, some faint hop earthiness Taste: strong malt presence, pine bitterness, Palate: lively carbonation, leaves mouth very dry, moderate mouthfeel Overall: I feel like this beer has such a strong malt backbone that it almost takes the spotlight from the hops, still a good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ronaldtheriot (1965) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - SEP 10, 2013
Sweetwater LowRYEder IPA has a medium, off-white head, a hazy, orange-gold appearance, a few streaming bubbles, and some thin lacing left behind. The aroma is faint, but one can detect citrus, hop oil, and bread crust. Taste is very much of mild grapefruit, with some white bread, white bread crust, sweetness, low bitterness, and a shade of peppery rye. Mouthfeel light to medium and a bit slick. Sweetwater LowRYEder finishes dry, refreshing, sweet, and easy going. Overall, this is very good, but not particularly different. RJT unclemike (3161) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Pours orange with a thin white head. The most prominent note on the nose is the rye. There’s som eye on the tongue along with some citrus thing. Clean finish. I don’t think the rye complements the beer very well. It’s all a but muddled. Finhead (1783) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Hazy, yellowish-orange pour with a small, white head. The aroma is mildly spicy with a little grass. It has a medium body with a slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. The taste is a little bittersweet with a dry finish. jcnielsen (3413) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 17, 2013

Aromas of honey, pine, and a little pepper. Clear orange-gold with a fairly lasting, white head. Dry and slightly bitter with mild apricot and citrus notes. Light bodied and clean with a mild peppery spice. A little lacking in structure, but pretty decent. Maltmisjonen (29) - - JUL 30, 2013
