Bottle. Pours transparent amber with very little head. Aroma of wheat and hops. Taste of malts with a slight citrus aftertaste.

Pours an amber color. Light lacing. Not much rye on the nose but some floral hops. Not a bad IPA but not much flavor from the rye either. A bit disappointing

Golden amber pour. Small white head. A little bit of lacing. A bit of a dry hoppy flavor after the perfume hop aroma. Not bad at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small but thick foamy head that fades normally and leaves some nice lacing. Lots of rye bread in the aroma with some caramel, pine, and citrus. Taste is not as good as the aroma. Decent flavor but very rough. I think it’s just too much rye for me. Very little sweetness and a strong bitterness. Spicy rye finish. Overall, I think the caramel mixed with the rye is weird here. It still does have a great aroma and appearance. I could see some people loving this.

Clear golden pour with decent near white head. Bottle is a few months past its prime, but still pretty damn solid. Sweet, grapefruity citrus nose and flavor. Some lemongrass bitterness on the tail. The spiciness of the rye has faded, but it is still there. One of the better rye beers i’ve had i would say.

Outstanding IPA. Sweet water has done it again. Just enough rye in the taste to make it different than the regular IPA. Great.

Bottle from ck1, thanks bro! Pours a pale orange with a white spongey head leaving a bit of lacing. Aroma has fresh fruit and pine. Sweet hoppy and fairly subtle. Taste is of sweet fruits, pine and some citrus. Very faint caramel underneath, but this brew is about the hops. Medium bodied and somewhat sticky and quite dry -- only real indication of rye presence. Finishes bittersweet although fairly short. A tasty, solid IPA, that is a bit muted likely due to the rye.

Slightly hazy orange pour with a white head and white lacing. Nose is malty. Big hop character is balanced by the malt with bitter and piney finish.

From bottle. Medium fruity hop aroma and a little spicy rye character. Medium golden amber clear with mild haze, topped with rocky-foamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Solid IPA, mild malt sweetness with a light rye spicy note. Good fruity hop flavor with medium bitter finish and lingering bitter after.

Bottle from tackle box. Pours bright golden copper with small white head. Smells of rye, grass, hops, and caramel. Taste follows aroma with a earthy hop bite most pungeant in the finish. A little thin with medium carbonation. Sexy brew.
