Road trips are balls-out adventures loaded with unexpected twists, just like when this beer hit black ice and got spun!. It started out as an IPA recipe, but halfway down the road it blew a tire and a Pilsner yeast was pitched as a spare; an IPP yo! The fiery Pilsner backbone adds a nitrous-like boost to the van load of hops that would make any German pucker up when those hop afterburners singe their lederhosen!

Brewed with a Lager yeast at Ale temps using Sterling hops and Pilsner Malt to make this a crisp and hoppy twisted up seasonal treat.

JaBier (8112) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 11, 2015
Bottle. Clear gold in color with a thick white head. Aroma of crisp noble hop and some malt. Malty sweetness up front, giving way to a bitter noble finish. Nice hoppy pils that you can drink all day.

Hazy yellow, minimally effervescent. Decent lace laying. Bitter with a sharp tart bite. Some sweetness comes through the bitterness and finishes watery. Best by date: 6/8/15 Consumed on 3/30/15. $1.79/12 oz bottle at Total Wine and More Boca Raton Florida.

Out of balance brew with a harsh tart bitterness that does not have a body to match. Quite drinkable but a big step down from the previous version.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear light amber, solid white head, dots of lace. Taste is sweet malt that turns more bitter on the swallow, then allows a little bit of the malt to return at the back end. Drinkable, but pretty much like nearly every standard issue IPA.

just an average lager beer with a hoppy bitter finish. smells malty and tastes the same. very tough to drink and not refreshing. got a bottle from binnys in melrose park. pours yellow witha white head. had at home.

355ml bottle. Though it was a session lager when handed to me. Golden pour, reminiscent of a hoppy aal. Definitely crushable but not interesting.

>> Clear light golden pour, thick soapy head, good retention. Nose is lemongrass, fresh linen, mild soap. Taste is grassy, bitter, slightly dusty, good body, fairly dry, balancing sugar, fluffy white bread. Better than expected. For some reason I thought this was a witbier originally- ended up being nicely surprised.

Appealing light orange almost wheat beer color with light fruit & spice on the nose. Bitter all the way through.

DrinkinWell (389) - - JUL 30, 2014
Pours a clear gold. Lemon, honey, citrus on the nose. Herbs and spices, sweet citrus. Nice summer ale.

deaconmike (470) - Roswell, Georgia, USA - JUL 25, 2014
Bottle. Aroma and taste have plenty of Pilsner character. A touch of spice and dryness. Body is a bit heavier though. Nice crisp carbonation. Ok, but don’t really care for the style.
