12 oz bottle. Pours a pale gold with white head. The aroma is a tad zesty with some grainy notes that remind me very much of whole wheat dinner rolls and even a slight meatiness. The flavor is a little blander than I would expect from Sweetwater, but is solid nonetheless. Mostly it’s a grainy wheat character, but with little bits of citrus mixed in. There is a very, very mild planty hop character in the finish. Decent, but a little bit timid.

Poured a cloudy orange with a whte head. Nose is of wheat and light spice. Taste is pretty one dimensional, light wheat and faint hop. Not much exciting going on here. Overall, an okay ale.

12oz bottle. Aroma of (Already.Been.Chewed) Juicy Fruit. Golden yellow color, white head, not much haze for an unfiltered wheat. Hints of white grape juice in the nose. A touch of bread and wet dog. Not much for Taste. All I really taste are the Wheat Thins I snacked on about 20mins ago. The lightest amount of tangy wheat character. Very disappointing as far as flavor goes. Medium bodied, nice hearty texture. Although it is quite sessionable, I just expect more a flavor profile from such a strong brewery.
My 70th Wheat Beer.

This is a very nice representative of what Sweet Water really does well, classic well balanced beers conforming to traditional styles. It is a tough job and rarely gets much credit but damn it can be nice. Aroma is pure hay, smells like the farm. Color is very pale with good lacing. Taste is very crisp and well balanced with hints of caramel and hay. Palate is very well rounded and hay.

Pours pale cloudy yellow with tiny white head. Only grain and faint citrus on the nose. tastes like an average wheat beer to me. Nothing spectacular here and nothing particularly offensive. I’m not a fan of the style, so average at best for me.

Atlanta, Ga - Hop City Craft Beer & Wine - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, light white head. Non descript wheaty aroma, slightly sweet, Flavor is equally non-eventful with some sweet notes of grasssiness andbubble gum. Not overflowing with flavor. Clean. even mouthfeel.

Pours slightly orangy yellow, surprisingly clear, full white head that fades, and little lacing. Pleasing aroma, wheat, white grapes. Taste has a little sweetness, slight grape flavor, and more bitterness than expected. Not balanced that well. Light body and pretty low carbonation.

Aroma is a nice fresh oily hop and nutsack sweat. Color is a clear yellow pissy hue. Flavor is light, but very cottony with a slight citrus. Very drying. Not happy with this one. Bottle from Tasting at Barrios’s house.

Pours a light clear golden with little head. Aroma of wheat, corn, some zest, not much else. Same on the taste, Very light bodied. Not very "sch’wheat" if you ask me.
