RBSG Tasting. Nice corny, grainy pils. More hops in the flavor, unfortunately. A little too much canned corn. MullMan (1099) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAR 18, 2006
on tap at the sterling location. cloudy golden orangey color, thin very light tan head. aroma is a bit grassy and refined sugar malt. flavor is bitter and a little earthy, doesn’t really taste like a pils yet. some refined sugar malt appears, but faint. light bitter and grassy aftertaste. blank (996) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 8, 2004
decent german style pilsner... you expect the bad beer aftertaste, but it leaves you with a quick clean finish. if the macro’s could make this, i would be able to drink cheap beer again.... brainlair (236) - Maryland, USA - MAR 4, 2010
On tap at Sweetwater in Merrifield. Transparent filtered amber with a frothy white head. Nice herbal hop aroma, no sweetness or alcohol detectable. Tastes extremely dry, with a great herbal hop flavor that makes me think of the way thai basil smells. Reminds me of the Stillwater Stateside Saison, which is a huge compliment! I could drink this forever, after having a glass on tap I was compelled to buy a growler. Dogface (12) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - MAR 25, 2009
Not clear appearance body with white head. Aroma is sweet, lemon, Taste is sweet, and you can taste the hops, some lemon, and light bread. Leaves a nice hoppy aftertaste. Clean light body with some crispness that is quite easy drinking. Goes well with seafood.
